The customer said the cooktop was not working and the control was not displaying. When I arrived the range was unplugged. The customer plugged the range in. The display was dead. If you turn a burner on the burner does not come on but the control display comes on. I found the range was not getting power to the black wire. It was getting 120 across black and red and 120 from red to ground. I had the customer reset the breaker a couple times. Now the range control is on and everything is working as it should.

"The customer said that after she has done a few loads in a row the 3rd or 4th load of laundry it will not agitate or spin but it does drain the water. I ran it with a large heavy load for about 30 minutes. The washer is agitating well and it will drain and spin well. The motor coupler is in good shape, the lid switch is in good shape. The transmission is leaking oil and the motor is a little smelly. I believe the motor is just being over worked so it will shut off on the overload and then when it cools down it comes back on. I gave the customer a quote for replacing the transmission, motor and coupler.

"Hasnt been draining great. Sometimes doesnt drain, clothes are saturated at end of cycle, sopping wet. Spent two hours taking apart washer, checked all drain lines, found in the bottom of the filter assembly, pumpkin seeds, hair, lint, a tooth pick, etc. it was blocking the bottom of the filter. Cleaned all that out, put it all back together, now it runs great and drains great. Noticed a lot of detergent suds in washer. Recommended cutting back on detergent and also not using the beads."

Found that the range has a bit of soot on the oven door. I tested and was a lot of yellow flame for bake burner. I found insulation covering the air shudder and i did adjust air shutter a little bit and tested and is mostly blue flames but still some yellow. Found that the gas valve regulator must of been hit because it is slightly bent and is at a bit of an angle entering the bake burner tube. I explained what i did to customer and if it still happening that the gas regulator would need to be replaced but due to the costs would not be worth it for this range.

Tested and refrigerator now dispenses water and ice maker cycles and fills. Refrigerator is working good.

Inspected and tested. They have the FF compartment set at 7 which is the coldest setting and freezer set at 4. FF compartment was 35F and freezer was 5. Compressor and fans are running. Replaced disposal with new GE disposal. Replaced almost all of the pipes under the sink. Replaced the nut under the Strainer on the left side. Used a decent amount of blue plumbers glue to seal everything nicely. Tested each side of sink filling up the sink most of the way and then allowing all the water to flow through. Disposal works great and no leaks. Told customer to give left sink 24 hours to totally set though.

Water/ice build up in the freezer drawer underneath the evaporator cover (which is in the ceiling of the freezer) it would appear that the evaporator drain for freezer is frozen and when in defrost leaks into freezer but there is a lot of ice build up on the evaporator cover that i cant pull it off. Also we cant pull up any parts information or contact tech support since Samsung bought them out. Im guessing there would be a kit to fix this but cant verify. Customer states this have been going on for over a year (same issue when PR was out last year) I talked to PW and he said to go ahead and transfer it since we cant easily get parts information and if we really dig into it I wouldnt get paid enough for amount of time that would be spent.Refrigerator would need to be shut off and defrosted for me to pull off evaporator cover.Call into AHS and transfer dacor call per PW.; saved tckt
