Customer states freezer fan making noise. The motor was doing some buzzing, intermittently not turning on at all. Went to Dey and picked up new fan motor. Replaced motor and now fan is running as it should. ; pckd up 1 809069206 (Fan motor)

I disassembled the entire dryer to access the drum nut and drive motor. Removed the drive monitor ave installed the new motor. Assembled the dryer, put the drum back into the housing with the lock washer secured. Restored fuel and powered the appliance up, tested operation and the dryer is back online, heating, tumbling ave providing air flow.

The customers dryer is tumbling and producing air flow but the gas burner isnt igniting. Customer also told me that the machine would not advance to complete selected dry cycle. I found the high limit thermistor, thermal fuse and cycling thermistor all check out, resistance and continuity. There wasnt voltage to the gas valve or ignition coil, so I looked at the timer and found that there were open contacts inside the timer with resistance tests while the timer was engaged in a dry cycle but not running. I looked for a replacement timer and they are no longer available or manufactured.

On arrival customer states that the temperature in the dryer doesnt seem right and that it takes a long time to dry clothes. Start the machine and check the temperature and while it did appear correct right at the beginning of the cycle about 20 minutes and it drifted about40? cooler than it should be. Going to replace the thermostat and check again. Ordered part from distributing.; ordrng 1 5304511428 (Thermistor)

Could not re-create customer issue at this time. Check the fan for obstructions and that the ducting was installed correctly check for loose wires everything appears to be as it should.
