I looked it over heavily and found that the gearbox had been leaking oil for a long time. The gearbox was loud in both agitate in spin. I spoke to the landlord and let him know it needed a gearbox and a hall sensor. we talked about the unit And since this is a multi family rental unit hes going to replace it with a commercial washer.

Customer said it does not make ice. The ice maker bucket is frozen. It will the ice maker kit. I installed all the parts from the kit. I adjusted the ice maker fill tube and sealed the cabinet with siliconed. I cycled the ice maker and checked for any faults. After a couple minutes the fault e 40 ice box fan popped up. I ran the fault test again and cleared the e 40 fault. It did not come back while I was there.

I ran diagnostics and all functions are working good. Soap door opens every time. I suspect that there are large plates/utensils in the way of the soap door causing it not to pop open. Also they have soft water and the white over the glasses is too much soap. I showed customer how much to fill and suggested to use finish pods. Customer will change placement of dishes and use less soap and then see if that makes a difference. Dishwasher is working good as im here.

Found that the high limit on the heating element is open and cut power to heating element. It had a reset button on it. I reset and dryer is cycling heat good. I suspect that when vent was cleaned either the condo had shut off blower for their venting service or was clogged when customer used dryer and tripped the high limit. I tested heat with vent disconnected and cycled to 170 and when i attach vent it cycles to 175 so venting is good now. I suspect that vent cleaning caused clog and caused the limit to open.If problem continues would need to replace element which comes with high limits and thermistor. I adjusted some settings and recommended she keep it on deep water rinse and deep water clean as well as using less detergent and she has been using a full Full. This is a dcs dishwasher. The customer said it runs for 15minutes then shuts off. I tested the heater and it tested good . I ran it for 5 min and it shut off. I had forgot to put the spray arm back on. I put it back on and now it ran for much longer. When it did stop it had lights flashing. I took a pic of the lights flashing. Advise the customer to let it run and if it happens again to try and document any lights that are on the display. I have also why is the customer to clean a monthly with vinegar. I did reinsert the rotor the seal and make sure the drain hose was installed properly. Today it was working good after I was done.

Customer complains of water discharge in freezer. Upon arrival and inspection I found ice and mixed in with this discharge. I quoted a drain clean and an icemaker but found the drain to be blocked at the valve. I cleaned the blockage and defrosted the drain to ensure proper flow of water. I remove the ice it was there and left instructions to keep an eye on the icemaker but I could not duplicate any problems with the icemaker. The plastic water line behind the unit was very brittle. The supply line cracked while uninstalling or installing unit I repaired the connection. I notified the customer keep an eye on this line as usually once one place cracks they have a systemic issue. Fridge is now fixed

The customer said its leaking from the bottom underneath the door. The customer in the past has replaced the inner door gasket. I let it run for about 25 minutes and it seem to be working good and no leaking. After about 25 minutes I could hear the sound head change and I open the door and saw the bottom cover and suds. I had no soap to the dishwasher so the sudsing was coming from the rinse agent that is leaking. Both spray arms look OK. The bottom left side of the door gasket does have a tear in it. I quoted the customer for the door gasket and a new soap dispenser. Today I replace the door gasket and the soap dispenser. After the repair the customer told me the soap dispenser lid was also broken. So if dispenser lid came with the new soap dispenser so its all set to go. I ran it and there was no leaks.
