Found heavy suds inside the drip tray, causing leakage through the front seal. Ran a test cycle to show the customer the suds were present even without adding detergent, cleared the suds, and cleaned out the garbage disposal.

Took dryer apart and cleaned out lint and debris. Replaced faulty hot surface igniter and verified the dryer heats again. Recommended shorter and less restrictive venting because the long vent is causing short cycling and shorter igniter life.
