This isnt a recall. Some how the start button stripped out of the back splash panel. Removed back splash panel and replaced with new one. All knobs are working good. The timer switch is a little stiff but normal. Its a new timer let tenant know that its not supposed to be no resistance at all. Its a geared timer so there will be some resistance when turning the knob. Charging labor for coming back out and replacing part because this is a new issue for the panel. It tenant we keeps complaining we could try to get another timer to try but we would have to order it first

"Customer complaint is the range thermostat went out. I turned the thermostat to 350 but got no power to the bake ignitor. I removed the control panel tk access the oven thermostat. I found a wire off the thermostat. I put the wire back the thermostat terminal. Soon as I did that the bake ignitor started to glow. The thermostat was in the off position so the ignitor should have not started to flow. The only way I could get it to stop was to pull the wire off the thermostat terminal. When I left it on so the bake would start I found the bake ignitor is glowing slowly. The amp draw from the ignitor was only 2.83 amps. The bake ignitor is also weak. Unit would spin. Disassembled the front of the unit so I could see what the problem was turned unit to spin shut the lid. You could hear the motor running but it was spinning any of the pulleys or belt. The switch had failed in the motor. Unit will need a motor part number 134159500.

"Unit wasnt cooling. Looked in freezer and the back evap was covered in frost. Defrosted unit then started to test defrost system. The heater ohms out good. Checked the bimetal and found that has popped and was bad. Also tested the freezer temp sensor and that was reading faulty also. Replace bimetal WR50X60 and sensor wr55x10025. Both were truck stock; used 1 WR55X10025 (THERMISTOR), and 1 WR50X60 (DEFROST BIMETAL) from stock"

Leaking unit. Customer had plumber out to look for leak said it was the dishwasher. Found that the plug on the water valve was broken from being pulled out incorrectly. So was able to jump the water valve and found it leaking from the motor and sump. Unit would need sump assembly and water valve. Motor or the sump assembly are on back order and customer doesnt want to pay that much and rather get a new unit

Customers issue was frost filling up in the freezer and water dripping. I found frost on the icemaker and on the bottom of the evaporator cover in the freezer. It looks as if warm air had been leaking past the gasket around the freezer door. I did find a bag tie from possibly a bag of coffee that was resting on the bottom edge and hanging down past the bottom of the freezer door gasket. I defrost the freezer and make sure the freezer door seals properly.

"Customer complaint is, GETS A GAS SMELL WHEN SHE OPENS THE DOOR. Customer said she just gets the smell while using or right after using. Otherwise theres no smell when not in use. I started dryer on a timed cycle and watched it for over 30 minutes and it was cycling great and I didnt smell anything off. Customer said that shes opens the door regularly about 10 minutes in to remove clothes that need to be hung up. I think whats happening is shes catching the burner on and then gets the smell of gas thats not burnt up. I tested this theory and got the smell of gas when I opened the door when it was in the middle of the burner cycling, but not when the burner was off. Dryer is operating normal."

"Washer doesnt run or unlock. Gives an F8E3 error. After awhile was able to get it unlocked and into test mode. When running through diagnostics there were a great deal of suds. The suds are causing the error. Ran the washer through a couple test runs with olive oil in the washer, and scooped out a lot of suds before doing so. This dissipated the suds. Runs great now. Charged 50. If the problem comes back and is another issue, will credit that 50 towards whatever repair they need in the next 60 days. Customer filled HE detergent up to the max line. Recommended not doing that, just a couple table spoons."

"Oven not working, just beeping, down draft not working. Everything worked for me. Put in test mode, no errors. All burners work. Put on broil, heats great. Put on bake in test mode, heats great. On regular bake it was not quite up to temp. I put in calibration mode and recalibrated it up 30 degrees. Recommended turning off range at breaker in future if it goes haywire on control pad. Also said it could be that the control pad and main PCB were having an issue. But all is working now. Mechanically the down draft works and sounds great now."

"The customer reported the dishwasher would shut down and display a be fault code. The code is a letter b and the letter E. This code means that the dishwasher has to many suds inside. I verified the dishwasher is working properly. I sucked all the water out from the drain hose and cleaned up the sump area. I ran vegetable oil and vinegar through the dishwasher. I advised the customer to clean with a dishwasher cleaner and not to use cascade soap. If the problem continues it could be a sensor issue, main board issue or wash motor issue."
