The customer said there is a loud noise from the freezer. Today it was quite but the customer played a video of the noise. It sounded like ice was hitting the fan blade. I found ice running down the back wall. I quoted for defrosting the ice build up and putting a tube over the ice maker fill tube. I pulled all the shelves out and rear panels. I then cleared up the ice and put a tube over the ice fill tube so water doesnt splash out from the ice maker tube.

The customer said the washer will lock and try to run any cycle for a few seconds then it shuts down and the door remains locked. And the same goes for the spin cycle. I put the washer into diagnostics and the fault f57 motor over current is the only fault saved. I tried to run motor test but the f57 comes up. The drain pump comes on and it drains the water fine. I followed the test per the tech sheet. The drum spins freely. The motor tested good at 3.6 across all the pins on the motor. Per the tech sheet it needs the motor control. "The dryer shuts off before the cycle is complete. Upon arrival and inspection while testing at I found the temperature claimed that the unit powered off suddenly. I disconnected the vent and checked it and the outside vent had a 10 mph loss but still exceeded 20 miles an hour. I tested both TC hours and thermostats and I was getting in inconsistency when I checked them. I recommend replacement of all thermostats and tcos. I tested it using time dry just like the customer and let it run for 20 minutes and it ran flawlessly without cutting out again. "Customer complaint is, Not draining. This is a stacked unit. Customer had already pulled the filter out and cleaned it and said it was really dirty. Washer was running when I got here and the spin setting was turned off so it didnt spin the clothes out at the end. I showed this to them and advised on making sure its on. Otherwise washer is testing good. Customer also said its loud and shaking in a spin. There washing towels and blankets and the loads are really heavy. This is a residential washer and not made for washing heavy loads all day long. Washer is level, theres nothing different we can do to make it stop shaking so bad."

"Customer complaint is, NOT FINISHING A CYCLE. NOT SPINNING OUT THE CLOTHES, HAS TO REPOSITION THE CLOTHES TO SPIN. Inspected and tested. Everything worked perfectly in test mode. I started a quick wash with a load of towels and washer got out of balance the first time, then rebalanced and drained and spun the clothes out perfectly. Im not exactly sure whats going on here. It seems like if the clothes arent perfectly arranged it starts shaking. I think if we do anything, we would need to start with the damping rods, part number WH03X31498. "

The washer does not fill with hot water and the cold comes in slow too. I found the top part of the agitator does not ratchet like it should so the clothes do not come as clean. I removed the hoses and cleaned the valve screens. I flushed both hoses until the water was clear. I replaced the agitator dogs. The customer said the dishwasher is leaking. The customer replaced the door gasket but he said its still leaking. I removed the lower spray arm and showed the customer how its splitting. When the water heats up it causes the spray arm to separate. When is separates water sprays out the center and causes water to leak out the bottom. The gasket the customer put in was put in backwards. I removed the gasket and put in the right way. I gave the customer the number for the new spray arm W10837249.

"Customer complaint is, THE DRYER WILL RUN AND HEAT A LITTLE, BUT WILL NOT DRY CLOTHES ALL THE WAY. THE CHECK VENT LIGHT CAME ON. Inspected and tested. Dryer heat was quick cycling and was only staying on for a couple seconds. I disconnected vent and now dryer is heating great and cycling between 100F and 205F and air flow is 26mph on back of dryer. The vent is the issue. They just added a addition on to the house and the vent is part of that and goes out the roof. They must have messed something up, because customer was not having this issue before."

Took another look at refrigerator and fan is running and looked at evaporator and found that there is only %10 frost pattern. Pulled out fridge and there are two compressors on this model so the refrigerator side has a sealed system leak. I explained to customer that its typically expensive repair and we dont do them. Customer will look at new refrigerators but i did gave the customer Boriss contact information if they wanted to explore doing the sealed system repair.

Found that there there a lot of lint build up inside dryer blower wheel causing loud vibration and poor ventilation causing a burning smell. The customer said when it spins the washer sounds like a airplane taking off. The basket has a Little Rock back and forth and when I spin it by hand its loud. The seal has leaked water into the bearing so now the tub bearings are bad. The basket and tub assembly needs to be replaced. The parts for the repair are showing no longer available by Samsung. The total cost for the repair would be over $1600. I advised the customer to call Samsung for assistance.

Customers complaint is not drying properly. Tenant had clothing inside dryer and it was dry. Run unit with out clothing and it was heating well. Looked at the lint trap and couldnt even see through it. Will need a new lint trap for sure to help with airflow and drying. Also removed the heat exchanger and had some lint on that. Explained to tenant how to clean the heat exchanger and should be done once a month. Everything mechanically seams to be running properly. Called home owner and explained what I found. The upper rack is falling off. I found both sides to the upper rack adjusters are broken and other parts are missing. Both racks have rust on them. I created a list of whats needed.
