There was a error code for the lid not locking. I found a service bulletin for this issue. I had to push down on the center of the top. Now the lid will lock and it will drain and spin. I cleared the error codes.

I verified the operation. I tested the heater on the heat pump and it was bad. I replaced the heat pump. I ran it and its working good no leaks and heats.

I replaced the timer and let run . The timer does advance.

When I arrived the customer had the 2 lower spray arm metal guards sitting on the counter. He said he found them in the dishwasher a while ago before I came out the first time and forgot to tell me about them. I found today the heating element had popped out of the brackets and melted the bottom of the spray arm. It will need a lower spray arm. Please send the spray arm to the customer. He can replace it. Spray arm WD22X27724; states that autho needed

I replaced the timer and made sure its working.

"Tested dryer with vent disconnected and dryer is cycling heat good. But found that dryer is inside cubby and dryer vent appears to be broke/disconnected inside wall and clogged as when I lined up vent, dryer heat spiked and could feel hot air blowing inside house. Dryer vent will need to be fixed/cleaned. Dryer itself is working good as Im here."

"Customers supplied a few videos and has had many issues with intermittent error codes and dishwasher failure. Customer has had two errors in the last two weeks where is she get an LC recorded in the rinse section of the cycle. Today I had her run a customary cycle which ran for over 2 1/2 hours before the control board went dead and unit would not respond. It did this during the rinse cycle and I suspect overtime after the control board cools down it will give the same error as she has experienced in the past. I checked power at the plug at the power box and the control board and found power was still supplied but I could hear a loud hissing or boiling noise from the control board. I suspect one or more of the capacitors has failed internally. This customer is moving and taking her appliances with her she plans to be out of the home in three weeks. This unit would need control Board part number DD82-01337A. "Dryer giving HE error again. Ran it, only 5-9 mph airflow out the back of the dryer. Gave HE error after 10 minutes. I took the whole dryer apart and its all clean. Cleaned a little lint off blower wheel but nothing major. Cleaned lint out of lint screen and also washed off lint screen. Ran for 25 minutes, no HE error. 25 mph of airflow out the back with the screen cleaned. Temps leaking at 180 now, before it was 205. If it gives the error again today, please order a control board."

Customers complaint is that they can hear a high-pitched noise coming from between the cabinet and the refrigerator. Upon arrival and inspection I was able to hear a faint noise from the compressor and customer identified it as the sound. Overtime this sound changed. I tested all the fans and all systems walked through it and only when the coolant gases pressurize does this noise occur. I explain to the customer how the system works and that she is hearing the noise of the compressor working and doing its job. I looked at her freezer door handle and found that had a broken tab on the retainer clips. I replaced it with some that have been supplied by GE previously. The freezer door was heavy because the freezer was loaded completely. I advise the customer to use a lubricant on the door glides and after installing the new clip I was able to open and close with one hand grabbing the center of the handle. The refrigerator is working as designed. The noise is not an alarming noise or a noise caused by a failure but simply just the workings of the machine. The only way this noise will go away is if the compressor is replaced.

"Pops breaker. Found a bad switch holder and latch. Replaced everything, works great now and doesnt pop breaker. Also had a lot of cooking oil in microwave, wiped a lot of that out."

"The turntable turns not super smooth. I took the white plastic piece off of the motor shaft, that the glass tray sits on, and noticed it seemed a little loose on motor shaft. I ran motor without glass tray on plastic piece and motor runs smooth. I put the plastic part back on the motor shaft and with the glass tray on it, it runs smooth now.. ; saved tckt"

Aqua stop shakes bad when they run the dishwasher. Needs a new aqua stop. DW ordered one. Im coming back Tuesday afternoon to install. ; ordrd 1 00674387 (Aqua stop)

The dishwasher was not installed correctly. I did the best I could with what I had. I had to remove the mounting bracket and cut the ends off and them put them back on the right way. The dishwasher would still slip back when the lower rack pulled out. I did not have long enough screws to secure the bottom so I used plumbing strap to secure the feet. If it looses up again they will need to have the original installed come fix the issue. Theres no issue with the dishwasher.

The dryer would not heat on any setting. I found the heater coil was bad. I replaced the heater assembly. The dryer heats up good now. ; used 1 DC97-14486AG (HEATER ASSEMBLY) from stock

I replaced the ice maker and the water valve. I turned the water back on. The customer does not have a filter in so I had to use my bypass plug to test the water dispenser and ice maker. Both work and no leaks. I advised the customer neither will work until they get a filter.

The freezer evaporator was all frosted up. I removed the heater and found it was bad. I replaced the heater and defrosted the center. ; used 1 WR51X10055 (DEFROST HEATER) from stock

I replaced the main board and the flex drawer sensor.

I replaced the timer and knob. I did not need the motor. The dryer heats but the duct is plugged. The dryer duct still needs to be cleaned. I told Dan last time.

Unit wouldnt go in to a spin or agitate. Removed the belt guard and found the belt was torn up and off the motor. Quoted customer for new belt didnt have one in stock and rescheduled customer. ; ordrd 1 WH01X24180 (Belt)

Unit was making a rattle noise. Put unit in test mode to make it the noise continuously. Readjusting the compressor lines and the sound pads. Now unit isnt making the noise any more.

Put the evap fan in from last diagnosis and now unit is cooling properly

Unit wasnt cooling. Found the compressor wasnt kicking in. The inverter board was giving a error. Under the service guide says to replace inverter and if that doesnt work replace the compressor. Quoted customer to do the repair on the inverter board but let customer know there is a small chance there is more wrong. Customer is going to talk it over with his wife but leaning towards a new fridge. Being its older and has a ice maker issue also.

Replaced ice maker assembly and ran through test mode and everything is operating correctly.

I replaced the failed ignitors and control board. I tested both bake and broil. The range is working as designed

"Customers complain is ice cream and ice are refreezing in the freezer as well as she is getting a frost buildup on the roof of the freezer. I believe this fridge is being affected by service bulletin REF11-20. I defrosted the evaporator and watched the frost pattern for 20 minutes and it was unable to freeze up the evaporator completely 1/4 remained wet without frost. This unit has a sealed system issue and lacks the refrigerant to maintain temperatures. Customer noted that the refrigerator seems to runs for long periods of time, more than she expected. Please send a EPA certified technician for R600a."

Customer complains that the convection fan is loud and noisy when he leaned on the door to remove the fan cover it bent and now wont close properly. This unit needs a convection fan and the door assembly as it is bent. I quoted via blue book in the customer will reach out but us know if he wants to move forward.

Needs WH49X25738 motor kit and WH49X25738 - gearbox. I quoted with additional labor would need 2 guys and a few hours. Unit is sitting down in a closet. They will replace it

"Is walloven/convection microwave combo. Tested microwave and heats water. Turned on convection on microwave and started to smoke inside. Found that there was a lot of food splatter from probably using microwave that had gotten on heating element so when convection was in use it started to burn off and smoke inside microwave. Eventually burned off all food splatter and stopped smoking.I informed customer of the issue and there is nothing wrong, just to use covering when using microwave to reduce splatter.Oven and microwave are working good."

Found that magnetron is bad. Also the LED display is garble and cant read time or options. Due to parts/repair costs compared to other similar countertop microwaves customer will purchase new one. I showed customer how to remove trim kit and just sits in cabinet.

Not cooling. Start run relay was bad. I installed a jump cord and watched it run 20 minutes. The evaporator did not frost up. Failed sealed system was found.

"Found that the dishwasher was not draining because the garbage disposal was recently replaced and the dishwasher drain plug was never punched out.Punched out plug, dishwasher now drains and is working good.Very quick call.

I replaced parts but looked into why soap was getting hard and clogging up dispenser. I found that only on normal and heavy cycles does the washer start with filling main wash detergent section and every other setting it will start by filling bleach so it gets splash over causing soap to get wet then hard and by yet time the machine calls to fill the main detergent soap has gotten hard and wont rinse down.I explained that to customer about how it fills different areas of the soap dispenser based on the cycle chosen. But in the user manual for washer it does not state that and customer says it shouldnt matter and should rinse out soap no matter what cycle because the user manual doesnt say not to use powder soap on specific cycles.I explained that there was nothing more i can do to fix it as that is how washer was designed to work.

Found that broil is stuck on continuously. Can hear and feel relay switching but still power being sent to broil. Quoted new control board. Customer will think about it and call back if they want to proceed.Control board w11308431 Quoted $404.67

"There is several service bulletins on this model for this specific issue. To replace control board, problem is the service bulletins are old and part number they list is different (older) then what the part number is when I look up part. Also there is so much frost build up that customer will need to have fridge unplugged 48 hours before i get there so it is defrosted before i can do service.Please find part and schedule customer, customer is aware that Fridge will need to be unplugged and doors opened 48 hours previous to schedule.; saved tckt"

"Running 75 degrees too cool. Ran it at 400 and 450, and it was 10-15 degrees too cool. Recalibrated it, ran it again on 400, and it heated nicely to 400. Confirmed top shelf is stable, and leveled the unit out. Nice and level now. Bracket installed behind it. Customer asked if its installed correctly. I couldnt say for certain if it was."

Door came off again. Happened when a contractor moved it. Put door back on. Nice and secure now.

"Not heating. Found all fuses good and it heats great. Replaced the coils. Ignites and heats great. Checked airflow, 27 mph outside. Everything runs great now.; used 1 5303931775 (COIL KIT) from stock"

The customer said that sometimes the ice will jamb while its being dispensed from the door. Today the ice bucket was half full but some ice was clumped and stuck together but it would still dispense cubes. I verified the flap closes tight and warm air is not leaking into the ice bin. I took the ice maker out and cleaned the ice maker. I cleaned the crust out of the ice maker fill tube. I ran a test cycle and it filled good. I open the left door and held a magnet over the top switch and the ice maker fan came on and blew air out the vent. The freezer temp is at 0 and ice cream is hard. No error codes. If happens again could be a ice maker issue. I did not use any parts sent.

The touch panel does not respond. I was able to put into a diagnostic cycle. I could only run the console test when I tried to run any other test it gave the f6e2 error. Thw tech sheet had me check many things but then is no help when the things I check checked on. The problem is either with the main board or console. I quoted the customer for each. The timer does not advance on the time dry. The customer does not really use the auto cycles. The timer gets 120 but the timer motor does not spin and its hot to the touch. Ordering the timer. ; ordrd 1 W10846428 (Timer)

The customers compliment was the washer would shake aggressively in the spin cycle. When I arrived to the house the customer was washing one bed sheet. I put into a spin cycle. As it started to ramp up to speed the basket banged against the sides but eventually stopped and the picked up speed. It got to 648 rpms. The washer shook but it never walked. The washer is balanced. I checked for error codes and if it needed a software update. There was one unrelated error code from 10 days ago and no updates needed. None of the bulletin updates applied to the issue. The washer is working as it should and the vibration is normal. I explained the operation of the machine and advised the customer to use the precise fill option for better performance. The customer is not happy with the machine and will contact GE.

"The customer played a video of the sound but it was hard to hear. It all sounded normal today. I pulled it out and it looked normal. The customer said at times he noticed frost on the ceiling in the freezer. I pulled off all the loose tape from the back. The fridge was not level, I raised the front legs so it leans back a little."

Unit was still stuck with pressure error code. With the drain pump continuously running. Double checked the pressure hose and replaced to try out the pressure sensor again was still acting up. unit this time wont let me go through diagnostic mode. When you dispense water there was a chattering sound from the valve in the back. I noticed the water pressure out the door was slow. The customer and I went in the basement and found the shut off was not opened all the way. The customer open the valve for the water supply all the way now it dispenses water perfectly. It does not make that noise.

"Customer complains of blows breaker whenever she plugged it in. Upon arrival and inspection I found the dryer had a failed centrifugal switch and the heater will head stuck on causing the wiring to melt on the element and thermal fuse. I replace the motor, dryer rebuild kit, thermal cut off kit, and heater. I ran unit with the vent disconnected and it cycled between 218? and 105?. Whats event connected its spiked to 255? before I shut it off. The dryer vent needs to be replaced and unit is unsafe to be used with the dryer vent in this condition. I dont I notified the landlord. Replaced bad motor. Cleaned out filter and sump area too. Runs great now.

"Customer complaint is, SHUTS OFF MID CYCLE. Inspected and tested. Found airflow on outside of house is only 10mph and heat got up to 260F before I shut it off. Airflow on back of dryer is 31mph and heat was cycling between 235F and 125F with vent disconnected. I ran dryer for over a hour and its working great with the vent disconnected. Looks like the problem is with the vent. Advised customer to have vent cleaned ASAP."

Water was leaking out the front left corner while it was washing. I removed the racks and spray arms and the diverter cover. I put everything back in made sure that the cover was positioned correctly and ran it again the dishwasher now is not leaking. I advise the customer to do another cycle but put cups underneath the door corners to catch any water in case it drips.

"Customer complaint is, THE ICEMAKER IS NOT WORKING. IT TENDS TO FREEZE WHEN TRYING TO DUMP INTO TRAY. Installed new ice maker kit and tested. Ice maker is now fixed. "Customer complaint is, LEFT SIDE KRISPER DRAWER WHEEL BUSTED ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO. This needs the whole shelf. The plastic part that holds the wheel is broken. I cant tell from the part diagram what exactly comes with it. It looks like the wheels and rails are maybe separate. If we can find the whole shelf we can send it directly to the customer so we dont need to go back, but if parts need to be transferred over the customer doesnt want to do it. Part number is 5304508067 but I dont think that includes everything. Customer said that this is the second time this has broken and last time they sent whole assembly as one.; saved tckt , states that autho needed"

The refrigerators working good today I did not smell anything abnormal. It was cooling fine. I showed the customer that the noise is coming from the diverter valve when it changes position.

The customer said that sometimes the washer will fill with water then drain it all out and shut off. I checked for error and the most recent active error was a pressure issue. I found the drain hose was pushed more than 12 inches down the pipe. I pulled some of the drain hose out. I removed the pressure hose from the control and blew through it. I put the pressure hose back on the board and put a zip tie around it. I ran the washer on a medium colors cycle and its working as it should. I cleared the error codes.

The belt was falling off the pulley and rubbing on the belt guard. I found the main pulley was loose and had fallen down. I replaced the drive cam. I ran a calibration cycle and test cycle. Its good now. I called Dan and got authorization. Authorization number that was given to me by Dan 89162. ; used 1 W10721967 (SPLUTCH KIT) from stock

Placed knob and found that timer plastic tab cracked and timer moves a bit. Slid tab back in and added screw and timer now is secure and held in place. Tested and all functions are working good.
