The customer thought the oven was heating to low. She bought a thermometer and put in the oven. She said after it beeped that it was preheated the temp was 50 degrees low. I took temps at 350 and after recoding the highs and lows I got average temp of 352.348-343-354-360-350-361=352I bumped the temp up to 425 and let it cycle. After several cycles I got a average of 428. Today the oven is working perfectly. I explained to the customer that the store bought thermometers take 20-30 min to show the set temperature. I also instructed where to position the racks and the difference types of cookware and how that can affect the bake time.

The customer said the dishes dont get clean. The whole inside of the dishwasher is covered with white calcium. I tested the hot water from the sink and the water is over 20 grains of hardness and Id should be less than 3 grains of hardness. The lower spray arm was caked with calcium and does not spin freely. I replaced the lower spray arm and removed pieces of glass from the filter. I cleaned the filter plate. I ran the dishwasher on a normal cycle. I verified that both spray arms are spinning and the dishwasher is pumping the water good. I found no issues with the dishwasher. The water softener needs to be checked and fixed if broken. I showed the customer how to clean the dishwasher with vinegar after the softener has been fixed.

I verified the bake burner would not light after the 3 sparks. The way it was acting I was suspicious of the gas valve. After tested I found nothing wrong with the valve. I know the module was bad from what I found last visit. I replaced the module and insulated the bake wire. The bake burner lights up on the first or second spark. The broil is also working good. If it continues it may need the insulated new harness and the gas valve. I did let the customer know that the valve was a concern.

Customer complains that it suddenly stopped baking and broiling. Upon arrival and inspection I found no stored error codes. I took it apart and found the burner had been updated about a year and a half ago. I started testing and found that the DSI board was not doing its job. I also could not get the gas valves for the bacon broil to behave themselves. They acted sporadically and did not respond consistently. I quoted the DSI board to the customer and had a conversation about the possibility of a second issue with the gas valve selves. Customer said he would reach out and let us know if he wants to move forward but this point he wants to replace the unit as its getting to the end of its life.; saved tckt

The washer was filling with just a little bit of water. I removed the hoses and the pressure from each line are good. As it was filling in the cycle water started to leak. I found one of the cold water lines had a pin hole . I put silicone and tape over the hole. I also replaced the pressure sensor. Now it fills with more water and does not leak.
