Found that there is hard water build up in the ice maker water fill tube causing the water to spray out and shoot over the ice maker and into ice bucket and down the chute. I cleaned fill tube and recommended water softner to prevent this from happening in future. Ice maker now fills and no leaks. Refrigerator is working good.

There were lots of detergent suds in the dishwasher so I started a new cycle and recommended that she put some cooking oil in the dishwasher.

"32 in freezer and 47 in fresh food. The complaint was the icemaker wasnt working and water dispenser isnt dispensing water. There is a decent sized crack in the area where the water line runs to the dispenser, on the freezer side. When you press the paddle, the valve gets 120 but it just hums, and no water comes out. Needs a new left door, otherwise the line will continue to freeze. I turned on the icemaker and cycled it, and it cycled and filled with water. But at 32 degrees it is not going to run the icemaker unless you tell it to. Fridge is set to 1 and 34. Compressor running, fans running, minimal frost on evaporator. The refrigerator is not cooling to the set temp. The evaporator has low frost. The compressor is running but theres no heat coming off the compressor. I tapped into the low side and the pressure is low. I added nitrogen until the pressure got up to 200 psi. I sprayed leak soap everywhere I could and I did not find a leak. I replaced the dryer and added a service valve to the low side of the compressor. We pulled a vacuum and then recharged it and added the leak stop sealant. now the condenser is hot and the evaporator is cooling. Advise the customer to give it 24 hours to get back to normal and to give it a week before adding a lot more food.

"When I arrived I plugged the refrigerator back in. The compressor came on and all the fans. I put my gauges on the low and high side. The high side pressure was less than 40 psi and the low side was around 20 psi. Those pressures look like I have a restriction in the drier. I recovered the refrigerant and then cut out the dryer. I had a big burst of refrigerant. I found the new filter drier was restricted. I replaced the drier and leaked checked all the joints with nitrogen and leak soap. I then pulled the system into a vacuum and recharged it with 4.41 ounces of 134a. After plugging the fridge back in the high side pressure went up to 100 psi, the low side started at 25 and was dropping a little. Pressures looked good. I checked the evaporator and it was developing a good frost pattern. I made sure all the connections were tight. No error codes when I was done.

They have no water softener in the home and theyre using mid grade detergent. Theyve been using a cleaner in it but it is not sufficient. I hooked up the Smart HQ device to the dishwasher and found it needed a firmware update. I completed the firmware update and tested the system. There were no error Codes and the machine is working as designed. I made some recommendations on detergents and chemicals that will help through this process but ultimately this machine is designed to be used with soft water exclusively.

The customer had the setting to the max of 37 degrees. The inside temp of a can of pop was 44. The cans and the glass shelfs half moisture on them so its definitely cold inside. I removed the evaporator cover and the evaporator had good frost and the fan is working. I adjusts the temp sensor so it will cycle longer. This is a beverage and wine fridge. Im not sure if this unit will hold the same cold temps as a regular fridge. No other issues found.

"Customer complaint is, NOISEY. Customer said it makes a squealing sound at the beginning of the spin cycle. I removed the agitator and found a piece of metal and hair was rapped around the spline. Removed metal and cleaned off hair. Reassembled and tested. Washer still has a squealing noise at the beginning of the spin, but then goes away. I inspected underneath and everything looks good. Washer is going to need a new gearcase to fix this issue. Customer is just going to use it as is for now."

"Customer complaint is, SPIN CYCLE ERRORS FOR THE WEEK PRIOR AND THEN AFTER REPEATING A SPIN CYCLE STOPPED. Washer was locked with a load of floor mats and water. I removed the drain filter and it was plugged solid with dog hair. I cleaned out filter and started washer on a spin cycle and it spun out the floor mats that were in the washer. I started a quick wash cycle and watched it through the entire cycle and it worked perfectly. Looks like the drain filter was the problem. I advised customer to clean filter at least once a month because they have 3 big dogs."

The drain filter was plugged up. I showed the customer how to clean it. I pulled the dishwasher out and found the fill line was leaking a little and water was draining back into the bottom of the dishwasher base. I tightened the line connection now it does not leak.
