I had the customer cut the power. I lifted up the top so I could test the element. After testing the center ring I found it was bad. I replaced the burner element. The customer turned the power back on and I tested the burner. All is working good now.

This is a built in refrigerator and Wright Hennepin does not cover built in so nothing is covered on it. The customer complaint is the fresh food is not getting to set temp and the over temp alarm is going off. The freezer is set to minus 10 and the fresh food was on max coldest setting. The freezer showed minus 10 and the fresh food showed 51. I found the cold air return was blocked so the fresh food was not getting good air flow in the section. There is frost and ice build up only on the right side of the evaporator and in the air ducts. A door may have been left ajar and allowed warm air to leak in and cause the frost and ice build up. The evaporator has normal amount of frost. The evaporator fan is working fine. The defrost is working fine. After I cleared the supply and return duct the air flow is better. Theirs a small chance it has a sealed system issue but as of today the evaporator looked good. Sometimes ice accumulating on the right side of the evaporator can be caused by a low charge which is caused by a leak in the sealed system.

"Customer complaint is, ONLY TIMED DRY WORKS. DOES NOT WORK ON HEAVY DUTY, TAKES 3 OR 4 HOURS TO DRY. Inspected and tested. Found the timer has failed. I can get it to heat when I hold the timer, but stops when I let go. When it is heating, the heat spiked to 270F before I shut it off. The vent needs to be cleaned. Quoted customer $410. to install new timer and $100. to clean vent. Customer approved both. Cleaned out vent and ordering timer. Airflow on outside of house is now 22mph and back of dryer is 35mph. Installed new timer and tested. Dryer is heating great and cycling between 235F and 105F on high heat. Dryer is now fixed."

The customers concern was with a squeak from his dryer. Upon arrival and inspection I found a small black discharge on the idler and there was a squeak the support rollers looked good. I pulled it apart and cleaned and oiled the rollers and idler. There is a bit of a panel rattle so I adjusted feet but the machine it helped with the rattle but it was not perfect. I looked but could not find any loose hardware on the bulkhead. No parts used just labor. Note customer asked about dryer vent outlets at the side of his home I recommended an option to help keep pests from entering the home.

Because of the strong chemicals that are used in the restaurant the door gasket is deteriorating. I found water leaking from the gasket where it seals against the front tub. I ran the washer a few times and the drain cycle and you can hear the drain pump struggling to start. I cleaned the drain filter of the debris buildup but its still doing the same thing. I gave the customer a quote for a new door seal and drain pump. At this time customer declined repair because he may purchase a new combo washer and dryer set. Then the customer ran it two more times afterwards and now it does not leak at all. I started the dishwasher and let it run for about 1015 minutes and it was not leaking. I then open the door and found the bottom had quite a bit of suds. The customer said she filled the rinse aid dispenser and some may have spilled out. She thinks she filled it around the same day. It started to leak. I went over cleaning instructions and I cleaned the filter in the dishwasher. I advise the customer to use a less soapy of a soap and to clean the dishwasher monthly.

"Customer complaint is, FREEZER PORTION OF OUR SIDE BY SIDE REFRIGERATOR IS NOT GETTING AS COLD AS IT SHOULD BE. Inspected and tested. Freezer temperature was only 28F and FF compartment is 37F. After removing the evaporator cover, I found that it had just gone through a defrost cycle so there was no frost on the evaporator. After 20 minutes there was only frost on about 60 percent. The sealed system is failing and cant keep up. Customer is going to replace the refrigerator."

When you try choose any of the oven functions it says feature not available. I pulled out range and unplugged and tested all the oven components and everything tested good. I inspected the board and didnt see anything visible wrong. I reassembled and now oven is heating, but after preheating the broil element is stuck on and the oven got to 550F before I shut it off.
