The customer complaint she was getting a hot maybe burn smell and they thought it could be from the range because the terminal block has melted on the range before. When I arrived I found the range was pulled out and unplugged. I checked the block and cord and everything was tight and no arching or burning. I plugged it back in and checked for any shorting. I pulled control board off and checked the board. I found no issues anywhere. I advised the customer the range is working properly and the issue is not with the range. I could not smell anything unusual.

Also fridge is higher temp also. So fresh food items wont last as long. Removed evap cover and found the evap not completely frosted. The top is dry. Took an amp draw and found its lower then it should be also indicates a sealed system issue. Would need to tab in to system to find leak. Left voice mail for property manager. Explaining there is a leak but would need to do more digging to find leak. To find the leak we would have to tap into system and will have a minimum off 360 just to hook up dye to find the leak. Its on the far left, between wall and stacked unit next to it. No room to slide appliances to the right, and cant pull it out because of door handle. Would need dryer removed from top, tight fit behind units. Will have to climb over units. Would need 3 blocks of time for this, and a second technician. They also told me while I was there that the dryer on top of it doesnt heat. And the whirlpool washer to the right (stacked unit) has d27 error. Out of order. And dryer to right of that needs to be reconnected to wall. "Dryer door hinge is broken. Quoted for new hinge. Employees at this store came into the break room and were asking me to relocate the hinge from the right side to the left side. And the latch from the left side to the right side. You have to take the whole door assembly apart to do that, but they really wanted me to. One employee called his manager telling them that they would like me to do that today. I explained that the hinge is broken, but they want me to now, so I took 40 minutes and took apart door, relocated hinge and latch assembly. I showed them that I did that, and will be back to actually fix door on Wednesday. I was leaving and one employee yelled wait wait wait because the door was popping open. I plugged dryer in and it continuously runs if the door is shut and the extended tumble light is on and it constantly beeping. If you open the door it shuts off. When its running its not heating. I canceled the cycle and now its working normal. I started dryer on a timed dry cycle and its heating and responding correctly when you open and shut the door and I can start and stop it with the start/pause button. I called Techline and he said the lights flashing was probably a error code. He said its most likely the motor relay sticking on the motor control board. "Water leaking from fridge. Found water leaking from the main hard water line where it connects to the plastic waterline. Used plumbers tape and tightened, no leaks from there. Also found leak from John guest fitting behind fridge. Waterline that was in the fitting was damaged. I cut off the damaged tip and re inserted tip into the to the other end. Used a little red glue too. Now no leaks. Customer also showed me freezer had rhime ice. I found one section of freezer door gasket that was compressed. I worked on expanding gasket, so now it seals nicely."

"They were opening the door and it popped the breaker again. I plugged it into another outlet, power came on, I hit open and it tripped the breaker. We reset the outlet. I took all connectors off of the door switches. Tested all switches. All test good. Tightened up the connections on all the switches. Tested the door six times. Ran it with a glass of water, and the water heated, and it ran great. I then opened the door and closed it a few more times, and it worked great. Fuse did blow when i first got here. I used one of our 20 amp fuses.

"Customer complaint is, NOT CYCLING, RAN ALL DAY, MAKING A CLICKING NOISE, STAYED IN CYCLE. Inspected and tested. I hooked up SmartHQ and ran through service diagnostics and everything was working perfectly. The only thing was there was a ton of suds in the washer when I would fill and agitate, even with the drawer removed. I filled and drained probably 5-6 times before it went away. I started a rinse and spin cycle and it completed perfectly. Looks like soap suds are the issue. This has the smart dispense drawer and Ive seen this cause issues before with to much soap. I advised customer to use less soap and that if he continues to have problems, we would probably have to replace the drawer."

The washer stops in all cycles. We found the faults e66 and e68. We checked the heater and wiring and found one of the heater wires fell off and rubbed against the belt. We fixed the wire and put the wire back on the heater. Water is leaking from the tub seal. The washer is working properly in all cycles but its leaking a little. We advised the customer to keep using but if they see water or it stops it would be better to replace it.

I got the broken piece out and installed the new bulb the customer had. The customer said hot air is escaping from the door. The door seal is good and the door shuts good. I cleaned around the door seal and made sure the oven is working.

"Customer complaint is, IM NOT MAKING ICE AND FREEZES things in the FF compartment. Inspected and tested. FF compartment temperature is 32F and Freezer is 2F. Thermistors, fans and damper all tested good in test mode. I found the ice maker was jammed up with cubes. I removed ice maker and cleaned it out. Reassembled and tested. Ice maker cycled and filled with water. I removed and dumped out ice maker again and cycled it and it filled with water. Looks like the ice maker was just jammed up. I think the temperature issues are because it was trying to make ice and couldnt, so it was cooling down to try and speed up the ice production."

Had to figure out which igniter goes where because it was a sub part number and is a little different once I figure out the wiring now unit is working properly.
