Frigidaire Range Repair. On arrival, customer stated that the range has continued to throw the breaker whenever they try and use the oven. Opened up the back panel and discovered a shorted fuse block that had melted slightly on the left side. Replaced with a new terminal block. I picked up from day distributing. Tested and everything looked good. Checked the infinite switching question and at this time it only appeared to be mild arcing and not anything of real concern. Complete test machine is working great.

LG Dryer Repair. The drum is making a rubbing noise when it tumbles, no matter the cycle. I could hear a wheel on the bulkhead spinning and stopping when the drum tumbled. I disassembled the bulkhead, accessed the front rollers (wheel dust all over bulkhead), replaced the two front rollers, checked the drum, idler belt and wheel, blower wheel and motor. The only defect I found were the two, front drum wheels. Reassembled the dryer, plugged the unit in and started a cycle to verify the roller replacement had solved the problem. Dryer is back to like new, good to go.

Found there was no Freon in the unit. Pressurized with nitrogen found a leak up in the evaporator at the tube. The cap tube has broken cut the bad spot out of the cap tube. Brazed in new cap to evap. tested with nitrogen. Pulled vacuum. Filled then tested unit is working properly.

Electrolux Washer Repair. The customers are experiencing a buzzing noise from their washing machine, sounds like a pump (circulation or drain). I took off the door assembly to access the pumps underneath the wash tub. I couldnt narrow down which pump was making the noise, so I changed the drain pump and the front circulation pump. I assembled the door ave plugged the machine back in, ran three different wash cycles to check for function and leakage. The washing machine is good to use as normal again.

The customers ice maker was not producing any ice, I used the test button to attempt a harvest cycle but nothing happened, points to a defective ice maker motor so I replaced the ice maker assembly. Water did flow to the new ice maker assembly but the flow was slow and flow was also slow to the water dispenser. I replaced the water inlet valve at the back of the refrigerator and retested the flow to the water dispenser and ice maker, improved the flow greatly.

GE Refrigeratetor Repair. WATER FILTER IS BROKEN - CAN'T GET ICE/WATER TO DISPENSE. Customer said UI and dispenser went dead after trying to replace filter and the freezer light doesnt shut off. Customer couldnt get the filter in. I installed filter and display is still dead and freezer light is on constantly. I hooked up SmartHQ and the only active error was for no RFID filter detected. I installed my bypass plug and its detecting it, but still no display. Theres a software update available, so I installed it and still same results. I power cycled refrigerator and the freezer light is now working, but still no display. I called GE techline and talked to Neal and he was super helpful and we found voltage to the display. The display board has failed. Customer approved repair. Installed new display board and tested. Display and dispenser are working great. Refrigerator is now fixed.

GE Dishwasher Repair. WON'T COMPLETE THE CYCLE. cust advised they will power the unit and close door and will not start the cycle light just blinks. Found the door is not lining up right with the door latch. Its too low. Ive seen this before with the plastic tub dishwashers and GEs only fix is to shim the door up. I removed door and put some washers in it and reassembled. Its much better. I also put something between the top of dishwasher and counter to straighten out the top because its warped up. Tested and dishwasher is working great. Dishwasher is now fixed.
