Sister Junenemann purchase a lightbulb from batteries plus was advised to get an LED bulb which consequently melted and caused the service call for today. upon arrival and inspection I found the LED bulb had melted and become lodged in the socket. I was able to remove the parts and install a new lightbulb after cleaning the melted plastic from the light socket. Sister Junenemann request a copy of this receipt via email so she could work with Darrell the general manager at batteries plus. "Customers complain as there is poor washability, and it does not drain consistently. Upon arrival and inspection I found a blockage that was getting caught in the siphon break. I remove this blockage and begin testing again. I found over 50% of the holes on the spray arms were blocked, causing it to not wash well. I cleaned a lot of debris from inside the spray arms. I re-seated the filter assembly, as well as, I tightened up the mounting screws for the door as it had come loose. The dishwasher is now working as designed.

"Some frost started forming almost immediately on the outside of the evaporator cover, but no frost coming through the vents. Water pooling up and then freezing on bottom of fresh food section, and then some frost forming on items in freezer. Confirmed that the door gaskets all seal well. Checked the drain pan by the compressor and it was totally dry. Ran a full tank of steam from my steamer through the drain line up to the evaporator cover. Took awhile but water finally started draining down. Customer said the fridge has been consistently doing a hum and click from the compressor. They said temps have been good though. Steamed out drain until it finally drained again. Made sure water drains down well now by pouring cup of water down drain/ seemed to be only issue.

"The customer complaint is the drain pump runs continuously, the door is locked and the panel does not turn on. The panel is blank, the lock light is on and the pump runs. I put into diagnostics and got the f3e1 code for the pressure sensor. I tried to clear the sensor and hose but it still acts up. I reset the control but it still runs the drain. I replaced the sensor and cleared the control. The washer is working good now. I ran a load and completed the diagnostic test. I started a quick wash, it filled and started to wash.

"Dishwasher didnt drain and overflowed while running it. I found sludge built up where drain line connects to the garbage disposal. She mentioned that the disposal was all blocked up with food and not draining at the same time the dishwasher couldnt drain: I took out the filter and cleaned out a bunch of hair and fat. Also, checked dishwasher impeller and it has good spring to it and no debris. Sucked water through the drain line and it doesnt have any restrictions. Looped up nicely too. Then ran and filled the dishwasher twice and drained it twice and it drained perfectly both times."

"The customer said that about 3 months when they wash a load with sheets and comforters that washer will not spin all the water out. I advised the customer that can happen on load with sheets and bedding. They do not use the bedding cycle they just use normal. I advised to use the bedding when washing bedding. I tested the valves and they all work perfectly fine. When I put it into a drain cycle, I noticed the washer was not draining out very quickly. I found the drain hose was pushed too far down the drain pipe. I pulled the hose out and it started to drain out faster. I have the hose about 8 inches down the standpipe and a zip tied it in place so it wont move."

"The complaint was frost building up on the back of the freezer wall, and the fan makes noise in the freezer. I found Frost building up on the back evaporator cover, and the evaporator fan is not working. I remove the cover and found the top half of the coil is all frosted over and ice is built up around the fans. While I was removing the cover, the whole refrigerator went into defrost and it was defrosting the evaporator but not the top half because its so frosted over. I manually defrosted the entire evaporator with my steamer and had it in defrost entire time. I reset power and everything came on and the freezer evaporator fan came on. Advise the customer to keep an ion it and see if it comes back."

"Fresh food section has been warm. Lots of frost building up throughout freezer. Water leaking into fridge. Water leaking out from bottom of fridge. Water on top of food on top shelf of fridge. I found the door gasket for ff not seated right, and not sealing totally. I steamed it and applied glue to get it in right place, and now it fully seals so moisture cant enter fridge. Steamed out frost in fz, and steamed out vents to ff section. Also found evaporator drain frozen. Steamed that out and poured cup of water down it, draining great. Let it run for 10 minutes and evaporator is freezing over nicely, and cold air is blowing into ff section now. Everything runs great now. Told customer it can take 24 hours before its all cool. Also dried up all the water with towels. And wiped out freezer so thats all clean now."

Customer ran cycle the night before and showed me when I got here that there was still alot of condensation and moisture on dishes and the stainless tub.Ran test and all functions are working. I showed customer user manual that steam gloss option increases dry time by 30 minutes. I recommended too use that and I increased the rinseaid amount in the user settings which should also help with drying. Customer will use those options and see if that helps with drying. Dishwasher is working good.

Only way to fix that would be replacing transmission.

I patched the hose first then I realized the hose is extended and very long so I cut out the bad section and hooked the good parts together. The hose is shorter now but it should drain more efficiently because its not going up and then down and back up again. I showed the customer the defective hose and how its now being run.

The vent behind dryer is the flexible foil material and has holes in it. The problem is with the vent. I advised customer to replace vent before using."

Unit has a terrible smell in the dryer and isnt drying well. Verified complaint unit definitely has a bad smell and air flow is under 10mph also. Definitely could be something dead stuck in the vent. I removed the vent from behind the dryer then disassembled the dryer to make sure I didnt see anything inside the dryer. Nothing in blower wheel or inside dryer. Reassembled unit. Recommend getting dry vent wizards out to inspect the vents. If there is something dead in there I dont want to get it more stuck. With the vent not hooked up, the unit had good air flow. So definitely something in vent.

Its drawing out good and has no issues emptying the tub. I used my finger and cleared out the hole in the garbage disposal. No issues found with the dishwasher.

"The customer said the dryer has stopped heating. I verified the dryer does not heat on any cycle. I removed the front and drum. I tested the thermal fuse and its bad. I visually inspected the heater and it looks good. I replaced the fuse and then took temps. High heat time dry high temp was 205, low was 149, 2nd high 198, 2nd low 146, 3rd high was 198, 3rd low was 145. Now with dryer duct off. High temp is 187,low temp is 140, 2nd high is 186 2nd low is 137 3rd high is 185, 3rd low is 138. I checked the air speed outside and with the cover removed the air flow was 21 mph. Out of curiosity I replaced the duct cover. I disconnected the duct in the basement and advised the customer to run 5-7 loads with it disconnected then hook it back up and try it again."

"I ran test and didnt see any leaks. Custoemr said that when it was getting the error the drain pump was running while time but he saw that there was water coming out of side vent where it fills. That tells me its possible that water valve failed to close all the way and overfilled. But also if it was draining that it is a possibility that it was overflow from the drain/water guide.Since i couldnt see any leaks. I went ahead and replaced water valve.Tested and no leaks. The customer said on Sunday the whole unit was getting warm. They reset the power and then it started to work. They said it has been cooling good since Monday. The fresh food temp was set to 33 and the freezer was set to 3. I waited and took temps. The fresh food temp was 34 in the crisper drawer. The freezer temp was was around 5. The customer said a couple times they noticed ice on the freezer evaporator cover. Today it looked clean. I did notice the freezer door was tighter on the left side and slightly stuck out on the right side. I pulled the door out and pushed it close fast to reset the tracks. The door seals better now on the right side.

The dishwasher would not drain all the water out. The dishwasher has water sitting in the bottom. I started the dishwasher and shut the door. The drain pump came on and it drained through the air gap but for only a few seconds then it stopped draining but the pump was still on. I removed the air gap cover and cap. I used a long screw driver and put it down the air gap to clean it out. I tried it again and now it drains good. It drains strong and fast. I stated the dishwasher and drained it 3 times. I showed the customer how to clean it and and how to check the filter.
