NOT COOLING - MAINT TECH SWAPPED OUT SOME PARTS. Maintenance man Jeremy said its tripping the breaker as soon as you plug it in. He tried different outlets and still tripping. I plugged it in and it didnt trip the breaker, but nothing was running. I advanced the timer and then the compressor and fans turned on and started cooling. I advanced the timer again to defrost and theres 120V at the heater but its not heating. I ohmed it out and its open. The defrost heater has failed. Quoted Jeremy to install new heater. He called and talked to Deanna and they approved installing new heater. Installed new defrost heater and tested. Refrigerator started cooling and heater came on when I advanced the timer. Refrigerator is now fixed.

The customers washing machine was constantly stopping because of an error code referring to a leak. I didnt find any leaks. The flow into the wash tub was very slow almost a trickle. I access the solenoid valves for the hot and cold water and removed the valve. I tested the unit to verify there were no leaks, and that strong flow had returned to the machine.

I removed the litter of the dryer instantly found that the belt was out of place. It took off the door, remove the drum and found the belt shredded and in pieces on the floor of the dryer. I also found that the back wheels were worn out and needed replacement as well. So I use truck stock for replacement of both the wheels and the belt reassembled the machine and tested it for tumbling heating and airflow. The dryer is back to normal and running.

Unit and spin mode making loud noise like it ticking noise. Sounds like its metal on metal remove the front of the unit tested unit. Unit started making the noise. Checked over all loose bolts that I could see visually tightened everything up also found the back level and legs were seized up, so loosened those up. Tested unit afterward and the noise pretty much went away. Would only come back if I was putting weight or pressure on certain spots. Techline they had no suggestions. Tightened everything up one more time to make sure everything was good. Tested didnt have the noise happen again show customer. Theyre going to test it and see if the noise got better or worse comes back.

LEAKING WATER. Customer has a water alarm system behind the washer and it went off and customer saw a little bit of water. I pulled washer out with my air sled and ran washer empty for over 20 minutes and it never leaked. I canceled it and started another cycle with towels and watched it for about 30 minutes and it never leaked. Washer is not leaking while testing.

Customer states the unit will not start, checked and found the fuse was blown, the heat element was burnt and the lower thermostat on the heat element broke, ended up changing the fuse, heat element, and the thermostat updated kit on the element. The unit would not cycle the heater stayed on, changed the output thermostat. Now the unit is heating as it should, the belt and wheel were worn out, replaced. Cycled and tested the unit is working as it should

I removed the top and user interface panels. Once removed, I was able to access the main power control board. I removed the wire harness is plugged into the main power control and installed the new main power control reinsert it all wire harnesses. And then I reassembled the user interface panel and the top panel. Updated the personality ID to fit the washing machine. And ran a test cycle to verify that the machine was back to normal.the washing machine is for normal every day.

Customer stated unit not spinning properly. Started a max spin load and found unit spinning like it should. Added two large towels and started a wash cycle to make them wet. Advanced to a spin cycle and tested operations. Washer goes thru proper procedure to balance load and accomplish spin cycle. Washer is in good working order, customer overloaded machine a couple different times causing if to fail spin cycle. Suspension is ok, but is 12-13 years old. With proper loading, machine will still have some life left in it.

Giving BE error which is excess suds. I followed the steps laid out by LG. Verified excess suds. Input a bowl of milk on top rack and some olive oil and ran it for 20 minutes and it got rid of suds. I also leveled dishwasher per LG. Lastly, customer said that his wife pre washes dishes with dawn liquid soap prior to loading them, which I told him not to do that and explained why. I also recommended switching to finish detergent. I ran it for another 10 and its running great.

Customer stated top of freezer is free of ice now after door replacement, but some ice still remains at the bottom of the door. Inspected freezer door gasket fit. Door/gasket fit great all the way around. The inner white plastic frame sticks out further than the outer metal frame, causing a void in the gasket seal as the gasket covers the split between the metal and plastic. Customer has likely spent 20 hours trying to get freezer door to close properly. Contacted tech line, took picture with tech line, they will be in contact with customer for options on the next step.
