This is a new issue. Last time there was water in the freezer. Now the dispenser switch is stuck closed so when the dispenser is unlocked it will dispense water or ice. I found the dispenser switch was full of calcium and stuck closed. I replaced the switch. Its working good now. ; used 1 MICRO7 (3/16' MICROSWITCH) from stock

The customer said as soon as it started water would leak out from under the door. I filled and ran a few times and it never leaked. The left side corner deflector is missing. I gave the customer the number to replace it. They could also have had excessive amount of suds inside that caused it to over suds.

I found a screw inside the disposal. I removed the screw and now it sounds fine.

I replaced the main control. The dishwasher is working good now.

The customer said that stuff in the freezer will thaw then freezes. No air is leaking in and the frost pattern is normal. Sounds like the unit is getting stuck in defrost. "Customer complaint is, GRINDING WHEN ITS WINDING DOWN FROM A FAST SPIN. Inspected and tested. Found the bolt was loose thats holding the rotor on. Also theres some coins in between the agitator and drum. I removed the coins and tightened up the bolt. Tested washer and it sounds great. There is a little bit of oil underneath coming from the gear case, but not bad yet. I advised customer that the gear case will eventually need to be replaced."

"Water valve was leaking. Customer replaced the valve and now when it runs, it fills with water but then doesnt do anything, then gives H20 error, then drains. I put in test mode with the newfi. It drained, filled, and circulated great. Called GE tech support and they said in a recent meeting they were informed that a pressure sensor gets gunked up when customers run the one hour cycle as their go to cycle. I took the sensor out, cleaned it off and the hole it connects into, and now the dishwasher runs great."

As soon as i plug it in the drain pump runs. I went into diagnostics and getting control board error and long fill/over flow error. There is service bulletin that the pressure hose on tub can get plugged. I made sure it was clear and washer still doing same thing. It will drain while trying to start cycle so it drains as its filling. Bad control board. Estimate is $405.81 (on top of the trip Charge)Customer is upset it is so expensive and said the trip charge was waste of money and declined to fix it. I told her to call office if she changes her mind.Control board w11170317 would need to be ordered.

Found that the drain hose underneath sink was kinked. Whoever installed had rubber hose extension and over time kinked. There is enough hose to go from dishwasher to drain. I removed rubber hose and straight into drain. Ran diagnostics test and dishwasher completed and drained with no errors. Dishwasher is working good.

"Found that Nate ziptied defrost bimetal to evaporator and zip tie broke so was not secure to evaporator. So the evaporator was frosted over and poor air flow into refrigerator. Also checked wiring and splice pulled off. I replaced bimetal, defrost thermostat and redid all splices. Manually defrosted evaporator. "Refrigerator was not fully defrosted and refrigerator was running and cooling when i got there. 2 days before return trip customer said the freezer was at 40 degrees and everything was thawing. He said he had unplugged the fridge for 24 hours and plugged it back in and after 8 hours it still didnt cool past 45 until he entered the Samsung diagnostics mode and exited back out then the fridge started cooling and has been at correct temperatures for past 2-3days.He is weary of the freezer temperature. I checked for errors and fridge says none.Someone or several people have ready pulled off the evaporator and tried to fix it as there is a bunch of foam wrapping around the evaporator where it normally frosts up to try and fix it (see picture)And evaporator cover styrofoam is cracked in several places. Customer also doesnt want the heater installed because its a aftermarket part and not a fix by Samsung? And he is afraid of starting a fire. He said he wanted to see the specs if the heater/board/wires were rated to draw that extra current. (he looked it up online?).So what do you want to do with this call? Order evaporator and put it in? I could not verify issue with freezer, it was at -8 degrees according to their thermometer that was inside so must be intermittent problem.If we are going back the evaporator cover part# DA97-13757A needs to be ordered.; schdld next appmnt for 7/13 WED !"

Locked and pump runs. Upon arrival and inspection I found the pressure sensor was blocked with metal filings/rust. I cleared the blockage and the pump filter. I reset the washer and it did complete the automated tests. The rear bearing has failed there is 1/16th inch play. The customer is a mechanic he had the unit unhooked when I arrived. He declined fixing the failed bearing.

Not cooling under 30deg. I pulled the evaporator cover and defrosted the evaporator. I watched it for 20 minutes it never frosted up beyond the first 3 coils. Please transfer to a refrigeration company.

"Loud during tumble. I found a rock in the bearing causing the noise, I removed it. The dryer quieted right down after it was removed. It is now fixed."

"Led display loose, dishwasher does not run. This unit would need a complete user interface with touchpad and a control board to complete repairs. I also found an active leak underneath the unit as well. I didnt even address the leak as the total was already higher than the customer wanted to spend. I Spoke with customer they are not willing to invest heavily into this machine that is obsolete. No quick repairs were possible they will replace the unit."

The pet hospital employees complain the dryer shuts off prematurely. Upon arrival at inspection I found a stacked Samsung electric dryer and a very tight commercial environment. This dryer is the wrong product for this application. The unit heated momentarily but stopped heating seconds after it started. I watched and listen to the unit and it is very loud. The rollers and idler are also failing. When I went to look up this unit the rollers are now old is sold with the bulkhead assemblies. This unit would require two guys to unstack and there would be no room to work on it on site.

Oil smears on basket and clothes. The top seal on the gear box is leaking oil. I quoted replacement via bluebook.

Customer did not have refrigerator defrosted. Also he was saying several other companies in past pulled off cover and defrosted it with steamer and never actually fixed the issue. I doubled checked evaporator cover and styrofoam is all cracked. Need to order new evaporator cover.Also this has the ice maker frosting up issue to where i cant pull out ice bucket. evaporator cover part#da97-12608 ice maker kit parts.Schedule 2 hours for repair.; saved tckt

"I ran the oven and all the burners. No issues found and everything on the range is working as they should. I was able to smell the order in question. The range is not producing the off order. I believe the order is from some stating the customer was recently doing in the garage. I advised the customer to clean the bottom the microwave, clean the burner caps with knot hot water and let the oven bake at 400 for an hour or so. The smell should go away with time. Nothing to worry about."

"Customer complaint is, JUST STOPPED WORKING. Inspected and tested. Dishwasher is dead, but has 120 to the board. I removed power to the dishwasher and the turned it back on and it started working. I could not find the model tag. Both sides are cooling but not getting to temp. The compressor is slightly above room temp and the discharge lines is room temp. The customer said its been slowly getting worse but has gotten slightly better and the compressor is running a lot. From what I found it has a sealed system issue. "Customer complaint is, NOT COOLING / NO COOL, THE REFRIGERATOR NOT COOLING ENOUGH AND THE DEFROST ALSO SEEMS NOT FUNCTIONING. Inspected and tested. FF compartment was at 52F and freezer was -12. There was heavy frost around the ice box vents and the left side of the freezer. Everything tested good in test mode. Its possible the damper is failing, but was working perfectly in test mode. I advised customer to watch it and if it continues to frost up that we should probably replace the damper assembly, part number WR60X27396. If customer calls back, can you quote them replacing the damper assembly and order it before we go back."

"The fresh food cover was building up with frost. I defrosted the evaporator and replaced the defrost sensor. Installed the drain kit and the extra loop heater. I verified the front right inner burner was not working. I found the burner was defective. The customer was sent a new burner. I replaced the front right 12 burner wb30t10130. All the burners are working good now.

"Not dispensing water. Verified its sending water to upper hinge area of door but the valve in the door isnt sending out water DA62-04027A. Thats the valve part number. Its either that or the main PCB DA94-03757A. Also, freezer and fresh food warm, and sealed system leaking neon green fluid. No frost in freezer. Customer will let us know if they want to do the valve and or main PCB."

I found the dryer belt had fallen out ; used 1 DE634A (PULLEY) from stock

The unit makes ice and dispenses ice it just does not dispense water out the door. I found the water line in the door is frozen. I thawed out the line and quoted the customer for the heater kit. At this time they do not want the heater. The freezer was set to minus 5 degrees. I set the freezer temp to 0.

The microwave light was out. The customer said the error code happened 3 weeks ago. They reset the breaker and it has not come back. I replaced the microwave light bulb.

"Found that they were missing crisper shelf glass. I switched shelf from bottom to upper so now they can use that because glass is NLA. Food was only getting frozen in the bottom crisper drawer but that drawer has its own temperature slider and was set on max. Showed customer and adjusted to low to prevent freezing since the rest of the shelves never froze foods.Water has slow flow, likely caused by clogged water filter. Filter has never been changed according to customer. Dryer is loud while at tumbles. Upon arrival and inspection I found a factory returned dryer with no identification tag. There was a model and serial number written on the side of the machine and the body was extremely damaged. The tub itself had worn holes through the outside of the body and when I took the lid off it was obvious that this machine has extensive damage it was crushed from both the back and the sides. He called his home warranty company and they declined repair as they dont cover machines that have been factory returned.; (serial indicated as 'NotAvailable' so system created UIS w/pseudo #)

"The customers complaint with the dryer is that it shuts off prematurely. She believes it does because its running on high heat and theres tried both high and low heat. Upon arrival and inspection I checked the dryer duct outside it vented greater than 20 miles an hour. I started and ran machine and watched cabin temperatures and I found a giant fluctuation on the high side thermostat 220-260. On the second cycle when it reaches the temperature and the temperature Sensor switch the unit shut off. I checked the thermal fuse and said they were good. I replaced the thermal fuse switch kit on the burner side, And I replace the operating thermostat with thermal fuse on the exit side. Temperatures ran between 205?F and 108?F unhooked. I watched four cycles it was consistent. Connected the low side was up 5? in the high side ran about 15? warmer. Well within manufacture specifications. "Customer complaint is, NOT READING TEMP CORRECTLY- TEMP WAS STUCK AT 315. Customer said the temperature display was stuck on 315F for about a minute and then he turned it off and back on and then it was working great. It only did this once. They used it over the weekend and it was working great. I inspected and tested. Temperature sensor tested good by itself, and from the board. I preheated oven to 350F and it was working perfectly. I dont think theres actually anything wrong, I think the display was just slow to respond and the customer didnt wait long enough.."

"Not heating. Took it apart, disconnected all connections, reconnected them so they were tight connections. Tested all fuses and switches and all test good. It heats now great."

Dead before. Replaced the main PCB and display board. Runs great now.

Icemaker just making a block of ice. The tray was broken from the hinges. Replaced Icemaker. Cycled it. Cycled great and filled with water.

The customer said while the dishwasher was running they found water seeping up from the floor in front of the dishwasher. After running it I saw water leaking from underneath on the floor. I pulled some the drain hose out and found it has a pinch in it. Im ordering the drain hose and connector. ; ordrd 1 00298564 (Drain hose) and 1 00088403 (Dose connector)

Customer complaints theres no heat in their dryer. Upon arrival and inspection I found the dryer vent was flowing at under 10 mph at the side of the house. I pulled unit apart and found the thermal fuse on the elent was blown. I replaced it and tested airflow at the back of the machine and founded still was only at about 13-14 miles an hour. I took the Lint trap out and cleaned it under hot water with a brush the pressure increased to 24 miles an hour. Then watch temperatures and its cycled between 186?F and 111.
