Freezer not freezing. The fridge was 50 deg and the freezer was 40. The evaporator was not frosted even one turn. They mentioned it had been running a lot recently. The sealed system has failed. They will replace the fridge it is not their favorite appliance.

"Wont bake. This 1997 model range has a rusted out bake burner tube, it shorted out to the ignitor and blew it. I quoted both new ignitor and burner. They declined service."

"Washer wont go into high speed spin. Just sits at 7 minutes left and tires to continually balance but never goes into spin. Test mode with no clothes and washer goes into high speed spin fine. Ran spin mode with no clothes and washer goes into high speed spin.So it appears that the MCU is bad? Which on this model it seems like its all part of the control board which is NLA. Also reading that pressure sensor goes back on these models. Before this happened she said she was getting SUDS error during her wash cycles. Do that at same time doing main board since we have to pull everything out.Is there a MCU on this model. Needs control board 12002651 NLA; pressure sensor WP34001209.2 guys 2 hours; saved tckt"

Not draining then it leaked. I checked the spray arm for the service bulletin and it was good. I checked and found the discharge issue was dd01-22. I cleaned the discharge head and it drained perfectly. The dishwasher is now fixed.

Burning smell from freezer. Heater element had fallen down and shorted out. Needs new heater. . Coming back Monday to install. ; ordrd 1 5303918208 (Heater assembly)

Customer said after 2 weeks ice stopped being made on top ice maker but also said the freezer ice maker stopped as well. I didnt touch freezer ice maker so I pulled out refrigerator and found that it has the ice build up on the outside back wall (see picture) i showed customer and said its not repairable and since it was working when i was out last I didnt pull out the fridge to see that. I advised customer to take pictures and call Electrolux and see what they will do for him since its not repairable at this point.

Washer walks around the room. The rear main bearing is failed and it gets out of balance and moves around the room (it has a smooth floor). Theres nothing that can be done this unit it would need the rear main bearing repaired but the cost is twice that of a new one. They will replace it.

"The customer complaint was the front left burner does not work at all. The back 2 burners work on and off and take a long time to heat up then cool down. I found when testing the burners the front left switch was shorting out. I pulled the range out and replaced the switch for the front left burner. I then noticed that the switch for the back right burner is shorting and is black in the inside. The burner works as it should but Im still going to replace it. The customer said the back left is also not working right. It seemed ok today but sines the other 2 were bad I replace the switch for the back left burner. After I was done and testing the front left burner the burner switch started to short out. So Im ordering 2 switches for the big burners. I advised the customer that its normal operation for the coil burners to take a long time to heat up and then a long time to cool down. I told them not much will change other than they will be more consistent. Unit wouldnt spin. Tested the motor from the board and the motor tested good. Also tested the wiring and the wiring harness was good also. Replaced inverter board and Jen tested unit and now unit is operating correctly with out any issues. Installed DC92-01531c

"Sparks when it runs. Had a bad magnetron. Replaced it, now it runs great with the new one. The little cover inside that allows waves to go through is damaged so they will go to hardware store to get material to replace that."

E:24 error and not draining. I found plastic in the pump and in the drain line. I removed it and tested 3 times. The dishwasher is now fixed.

Customers concern was the dryer and made a scraping screeching noise. Upon arrival and inspection I found the unit had been pulled apart but they had missed a piece of metal that was stuck inside the left most glide. I removed it and reassembled the machine adding a few screws that were missing. I ran it for 10 minutes and it was nice and quiet and the heat felt good. The dryer is now fixed.

"The washer doesnt consistently complete the cycle. I ran it through test mode and found it did not want to spin. I tip the machine back and found the gearbox was leaking oil it had soap to the belt the splotch and the actuator. Called and spoke with the contact Kim and give her the quote, and she declined repair."

No water is spraying is the complaint. Can hear the motor try to run but wont. Fills full of water heats and drains properly. Quoted customer blue book for a motor. And customer says they want to get a new unit any way and there are few others things wrong with this unit W10846093 motor

Found when i got here that unit was off. I checked outlet and no power. I checked breaker and it was turned off. I turned on breaker and range has power. Cook top amd oven heats and are working good. I let oven preheat and can find nothing wrong with range as im here.During the time oven stopped working the customer had siding being replaced and they did shut off power for outside lights she said so its possible that it was accidentally shut off?Range is working as im here. I informed customer they have 30 day warranty and to call back into AHS if they have any more issues.

"Not cooling in the fridge, makes a strange noise. I was unable to duplicate the noise, but found the dampener did not open. Part is on order.; ordrd 1 242303001 (Dampener)"

"Customer wants new unit. Says unit isnt drying or heating like last time. Found that last time needs the dryer vents clean. They said they did but still extremely low. Unhook the unit and it works just fine and has good air flow. Customer says American home shield said they will replace unit if we say it needs to. Explained that I would need to list parts it needs but for the airflow issue its separate. ; snapped 1 QuickPics, states that autho needed"

Customers complaint is unit not draining. Checked the trap was clear and nothing seamed stuck in the drain pump. Removed pump and found that the propeller was stripped. Quoted blue book for a replaced. Installed pump and tested multiple times. Unit drains properly now and no leaks. Used truck stock drain pump 4681EA2001T; used 1 4681EA2001T (DRAIN PUMP ASSM - MOTOR SOLD SEPARATELY) from stock

Unit wouldnt like to switch from agitate to spin. Found that the shift actuator was faulty and needs to be replaced. Also customer was complaining about the loud noise. Unit is extremely loud during spin. Found on that the gearcase is going out. And is extremely loud. Quoted owner for both parts. He is going to get a new unitW10006355 shift actuator. W11132267 gear case

Customers concern is if we didnt want to spin out with a really small load. Upon arrival and inspection I found a whole host of error codes were stored inside including out of balance. We watched it spin in test mode and it spun perfectly empty. So we put a small load in it and watch the quick wash cycle and found that with a load it moved rocking from the left rear corner to the right front corner. We went ahead and shimmed the right foot as the customer did not have the adjustment tool it was taken by the installers. We got the thing to complete and spin up and look perfect.

The complaint is the dishwasher is dead. I hooked up the tool and it said the dcs was tripped. I reset the board and it started to work. I saw water leaking from the wash motor and its louder than normal. I gave the customer a quote for the repair. At this time the customer wants to think about it. If they call back please order the main motor WD26X25103 and allow 2 calls worth.

"Washer wont go into drain/spin. I was able to manually advance timer and get it to spin. I tested cycle and after 20 minutes timer never ode and just agitated. Timer is bad. Also the lid switch plastic is broken and lid barely hits the lid switch to advance cycle. Also the agitator dogs are worn out. Upon further inspection since there was so much frost build up I had assumed that it needed the housing kit. But when i took out ice box it already had the kit installed at one point and so when doing further testing i found that the heater and ice thermostat is open. I informed customer and said that i wouldnt charge anymore for the service then what was originally quoted but even then he was having 2nd thoughts and decided he didnt want it fixed. If he changes his mind he will call back and parts will need to be ordered anyways (added picture of new quote and part numbers)Customer declined repair.

COMPRESSOR CLICKS ON AND OFF AND THE DISPLAY TURNS ON AND OFF. Unplugged the freezer evap fan and it stop the clicking. But then I unplugged the condenser fan and same thing. Something is loading down the board. . Ice maker isnt working also.

"Found that thermistor is off and caused dryer to get too hot and blew the safety fuse. Replaced thermistor and thermal fuse, also cleaned out inside dryer of lint build up. "Customer complaint is the washer does not and it gives the dc3 fault. The dc3 fault is a add a door not locking. I ran the smart install and checked the add a door switch and lock. Per the tech sheet it looks like the add a door lock switch is broken. It could also be a main board issue. I called the customer and gave a quote for the different parts and scenarios. I raise the customer it could be a door lock. It could be a control board issue or both. Advise the customer we can start with the door lock, but if we install the main board, they would have to pay for it. "Evaporator all iced up. Even with bi metal bypassed, in forced defrost mode zero voltage is sent to heater. Heater ohms good. Service bulletin for adaptive defrost control for this issue. These customers are complaining that the dryer when its on heat smells like burnt gas. Nothing that would be causing VOCs. I do see that the end of the burner tube is crumbling. The gas isnt flowing out right since its falling apart on the end. Ordered new burner assembly. Coming back Friday to install. Its loud when it tumbles. I found a sheet rock screw stuck in the Glide. I removed it and checked for more issues. No permanent damage was done. I adjusted the feet so it stopped rocking as well. the dryer is now fixed.

"Icemaker makes continual ice, one big giant blob of smooth ice. It was turned off when I got here. I cycled it, it filled, I didnt see any dripping water, and temps in freezer are good. Found that blower wheel plastic was stripped and noisy side it was wobbling around. Replaced blower wheel. Tested and dryer is running quiet and working good.; used 1 Y303836 (BLOWER) from stock

Door not closing. Found a hat on the top rack that was blocking it from closing. Middle rack falling down. Had two broken rollers. Replaced the rack adjusters with the new improved kit. Works great now. ; used 1 W10712395 () from stock

Kitchen-aid fridge manufacturers defect causing cooling and alarming issues. I quoted the 3 boards on the back but explained that is based on an educated guess based on the information given to me from them. I also quoted the control board and wire harness as there could be multiple issue. She declined service they are tired of the many defects with this fridge.

"The customer complaint was their is a noise and not cooling that well in the fresh food compartment. I found Frost building up on the back of the freezer, evaporator panel and frozen ice on the fan blade. I put the unit into a defrost and the heater came on and it started to defrost. The bottom half of the evaporator was defrosted and only the top half had frost on it. Everything looked good, so I just defrosted the coil. Advise the customer that the freezer door could have been left a jar and warm air could have leaked in and caused the frost buildup. Advise the customer to keep an eye on it and I change it from adaptive defrost to a time defrost."

The customer said the dryer does not start to tumble when start is pushed and a few seconds later f01 comes up. That fault is a main control fault. When the dryer started I tapped on the motor relay and the drum started to turn. I removed the board and found a bad solider spot on the board. I quoted the customer for repairing the board. I just cleaned the spot and applied new solider. I put it back together and its working good.

"The customer said they woke up in the morning and they found the oven was very hot. They tried to shut the oven off by pressing cancel but it would not shut off. They had to turn off the breaker. Today I turned the breaker back on and its working good. I ran a test cycle and it just said 7505 bake relay. Because of the way the customer said it was acting up I want to order and replace the main control. The part was not in stock at local distributors. Please locate the part and contact the customer. The customer said the water dispenser and ice do not work because the water was not turned on. I made sure the connection was good then I turned the water on. I installed the filter the customer had. I ran 2 pitchers of water and made sure the ice maker fills. I tightened the freezer door handle too.

"Customers complaint is wash motor will continuously run on all the cycles but rinse and quick. Checked for error codes no error codes. Ran unit through test mode and didnt give any error codes. Heater was working properly. Turbidity sensor is clean. Put unit in a normal cycle and told customer to let it run. They go to bed at 10 and I told them let it run to 10 then if its still running by then turn it off. I did a hard reset also. The customer said the dishwasher leaks. The dishwasher was pulled out when I arrived. I found the top of the water inlet looks like it was chewed through or something. I verified the issue and then replaced all the parts sent. I left the old parts with the customer. We ran it and there were no leaks. I left it out and sitting in the kitchen. "Dishwasher stops at different points during cycle. Customer has to press start and different buttons and it beeps. "The customer complaint was the water would not dispense and it does not make ice. I found no water was coming through the dispenser. Water going into the water tank but nothing came out. I removed the tank and found it was restricted with some white plastic looking stuff. I replaced the coil tank and a couple 5/16 connectors. 50 in fresh food section and 40 in freezer. Compressor is running and fans running but the evaporator is only 1/8 frosted over. Bottom rung of evaporator coils. The rest are clear of frost. Sealed system issue. Customer buying a new fridge.

The customer complaint was the dishwasher turns on and off and their is sparking coming from the outlet the dishwasher is plugged into. I plugged the dishwasher in and there was a sparking sound from the outlet. I unplugged the dishwasher cord and pulled the dishwasher out. I inspected the power cord and main board. I found no issues with the cord or board. I plugged the dishwasher into the kitchen island outlet and the dishwasher is working fine. I then plugged the dishwasher into a extension cord and then plugged it into the outlet under the sink for the dishwasher. I plugged the dishwasher into the extension cord and started the dishwasher. When the dishwasher started to drain their was sparking again from the outlet. I removed the outlet plate cover and I could see arching and burn spots on the outlet. I unplugged the disposal and shows the customer. I reinstalled the dishwasher and advised the customer to call a electrician to fix the outlet. The dishwasher tested good and no parts used.

The customer complaint was the dishwasher does not dry and dishes. I found the rinse aid dispenser was empty. The customer said they have lived here for about a year and only used the dishwasher about 5 times. They have never used the rinse aid. I put into diagnostics and their is no fault codes. I ran a normal cycle and as soon as it started to wash the element came on to heat the water. The element is drawing 6.88 amps. The dishwasher is working fine and draining fine. I advised the customer to use the rinse aid.

Getting dr0900d5 continually blinking on display. Found that the outlet power is not correct. From L1 to L2 i get 120v from L2 to N i get 215v.This is true on all of the dryers. Maintenance will contact their electrician and ensure outlet power is correct before seeing if dryer is malfunctioning.

"Customer complaint was the dryer is not heating. I started the dryer and I could see the igniter going bright orange, but it did not ignite. After further investigation, I found a waterline was hooked up to the gas supply on the back of the dryer. They got this dryer from someone used and just hooked it up. I advise the customer they need to call a plumber to have a gas line ran."

I replace the molding door Bellows. I tested it be running a 15 minute wash. Its sealed great. I love the customer detailed instructions on everything she can do to prevent this machine from molding. Note this unit has a feeling rear main bearing I told the customer she wanted it done anyways. Note customer had to leave and asked us to call and collect the remainder from her via phone.

Installed switch from last diagnosis and now unit is working properly installed WR23X31507

Unit not cleaning dishes or drying well. Also not getting all the soup washed out.checked error codes and found that the unit is giving F7E1 code heating code not heating and also getting F3E3 code. Thermistor/OWI failed calibration. Ran unit through test mode. Went through test mode everything worked perfectly no codes at the end of the unit. Cleared the codes and run unit it worked alright. The bottom spray arm is really plugged up but is still turning. Theses units are known for the motor being bad. Let customer as of now unit is working properly. Gave them a quote on a new motor. Customer is going to order a spray arm and try that out.

Customer complaint was the dishwasher was giving E 15 fault code. I pulled the dishwasher out and found water in the bottom pan. There is enough water gone for the dishwasher to start. I watched it for a while and found no water leaking from the water valve or the common leak areas. I did find that water had leaked from the bottom of the sump where it pushes against the bottom of the tub. Inside the dishwasher I found before screws loose. I tighten the screws and made sure theres no water leaking. I found the door was heavy and the cable on the right side was broken. After lifting up on the bake element too hard there was a pop and the breaker blew. Both bake and broil options no longer work. Upon arrival and inspection I found that the main control board was smoked. It had soot On it and all the components around it. The part was discontinued in 2013. I offered to look into rebuilt options and/or send their board away to be repaired but she declined. They will replace the oven.

It leaks and its loud. This Seal is bad as well as the gearbox. Both were discontinued in 2016 and the customer does not want to try to repair she will replace the unit.; (serial indicated as 'NotAvailable' so system created UIS w/pseudo #)

Customers complaint water leaking out the back of the unit. House had a bunch of water sensors and thats the reason. They knew of it leaking. Found that it was leaking out the vent. Ran unit multiple times to see if I could find any where else to leak everything was bone dry and only evidence I could find was leaking out the back. See photos. House keeper said that happened when using tub clean. And was on top of the hoses and on back of unit. So has to be leaking up high. All hoses looked good.

water was leaking on the floor randomly. Ran the water dispenser filled about 4 gallons of water no leaks. Also cycled the ice maker 5 times never leaked. Check the defrost drain the was clear. Customer is going to keep an eye on it and let us know. She said it would randomly have water in the front. There is no water leaking at the time even had customer with me to try to replicate it. She is going to keep the water off for a week and see if there is a leak then turn the water on but have the ice maker off. See if it leaks. As of now unit is working fine

The customer complaint was the fresh food was getting warm and display said vacuum condenser.Ifound the lights in the fresh food would not shut off and the light switch was burning hot. I removed the left light switch and tested it. The switch is testing bad. I pulled the wires off the switch so the lights turn off. The customer said its been working good since I removed the light switch. Today I replaced the light switch and put the panels back on.

Not draining. Found a pumpkin seed clogging the drain line. Removed the seed. Drains great now.

"Dishwasher is leaking. Found it needed a new bottom wiper and splash guards. Was leaking out the lower right side. "Customer complaint is, DELICATES WILL RUN FOR 5 HOURS. Inspected and tested. I started a delicate cycle and it filled, started agitating and then paused and just sat there without doing anything even though I can hear the timer ticking. The timer has failed. Needs a new timer. Installed new timer and tested. Washer is working great. Washer is now fixed."

"Customer complaint is the dryer does not start. When you press the start button, it says door sensing and acts like the door is not closed. I checked and verified the door. Switch is good. I jumped the door switch and it still does the same thing. I checked the main board for burn spots and to make sure it was wired correctly. I tested all the fuses and made sure everything was plugged in after the belt was replaced. The only thing I can find is that the board is most likely the issue. I gave the customer the blue book quote for the repair and advised that the board is not returnable so we would have to charge for a board in addition to anything else that it might need. The customer is gonna think it over and let us know."

Leaking. This unit is plumbed through the floor. The transition from the plastic hose to a copper pipe is hidden under the ceiling of the basement where the leak has manifested. There is a plumbing issue and the ceiling will need to be pulled down to inspect and fix the issue. Please instruct the plumber to follow the manufacturers specifications the pump is not rated to push further than 8 ft and to pump waiter more than 30 inches from its lowest point. The customer complains that the temperatures arent consistent and they feel like the fresh food section is in behaving. Customer also complained that her water does not dispense. Upon arrival and inspection I found the filter was damaged. I installed the filter bypass per GEs instructions and the system worked fine she needs a new filter. I hooked up and viewed the Smart HQ data and found that the fresh food section seem to be defrosting about every four hours. All four control boards needed a software update and one of the boards noted a change to the defrost programming and how often and for how long to defrost it. I checked the fan and it worked great I checked the heater and it worked great the temperatures looked right on course for what I was saying inside it. I installed the software updates I could find no issues outside of the defrost programming that mightve been suspect but that issue was addressed in the release notes as something that was repaired by this firmware update

Complaint is that its not holding temps. I tested it for an hour in service mode. No error codes. Both bake elements and both broil elements work perfectly. Relays all work. Temps match temps on my thermocouple within +\~ 5 degrees. Explained to customer that there is nothing to fix. He wanted to see one more time if it did what he said it does. We put the oven to 400 and watched temps with my thermocouple. Held steady at 398. ; (serial indicated as 'NotAvailable' so system created UIS w/pseudo #)

"Door only latches when you press super hard on it. Needs a new door latch assembly.."

"Fresh food section and freezer are room temperature. Compressor is running, and hot, all fans running, but evaporator has zero frost. Needs sealed system work. I called the owner to let him know."

The customer complaint was the dishwasher would not drain. The dishwasher is in a peninsula so a rubber drain hose was added. I started the dishwasher on a drain and the water slowly trickled out. I found the rubber hose had fallen down and was kinked. I cut some of the extra hose off and touted it so it would not happen again. Now the dishwasher can drain much faster. I tried it a few times and its draining good.

"Customer complaint is, Error code and unit beeping. Inspected and tested. FF compartment temperature was 38F, freezer was 0F and ice maker compartment was only 24F. When you open the flex drawer you get a E6 error. I called tech line and he told me its a communication error, probably with the wiring for the flex drawer. Also said this could very likely be are ice maker issue. He said you can test the ice maker in diagnostics mode, but cant enter it while its giving the error. I removed the flex drawer and found the wiring harness has failed and some of the wires are split. Needs the flex drawer wiring harness. I cant find any tech/parts information online. The tech support guy said that he was going to email me information, but I havent received anything yet. ; saved tckt"

"The customer complaint was the washer will not drain and do anything. I tried to run a drain and spin cycle and the machine started, but will not lock the litter or do anything and it would not run the drain pump. I put it into diagnostics and it gave me an error code of long drain. I tipped the washer back and found the Wires to the drain pump were pulled off of the connector. I replaced the connections and started the washer now. It drains and go through a cycle."

The customer complaint was the power button and start button do not respond. I verified that the power and start do nothing when you press them. If you rotate the knob the lights come on. I hooked up Newfi but there were no faults related to issue and no firmware update available. It will need the user interface control. Today I replaced the user interface control and set the personality to 7 per the instructions. I started a cycle and the washer filled and started to agitate. I then moved to a drain and spin. All is working good.

I tested oven at 425 degrees and found that it was about 20 degrees cooler that what my thermometers said. I adjusted ove up 20 degrees and tested and maintained 425 average for over 25 minutes. I explained to customer how to do it if she wants to adjust it futrther but oven is working good and maintaining correct temperatures.

"Customer complaint is, THE WASHER IS NOT FILLING WITH WATER AFTER LID LOCKS. Employees said that its been sounding like a jet engine for a while. Inspected and found the seal is leaking water onto the gear case and mode shifter. The mode shifter is just switching back and forth and doesnt do anything else. It needs a new gear case and mode shifter for sure, but cant test any further because everything is wet. "

Found that the pilot light is on and flame gets bigger and hits the flame sensor but never opens the gas valve to start bake. Would need Gas safety valve with the flame sensor. I tired to find part match online for this brand but couldnt find anything.I informed customer that part couldnt found. Customer will try to research more and try and find it.

Added two drain hose extensions and ran underneath floor then back up to kitchen sink. Tested several times and is drianing fully. Dishwasher is working good.

Giving AE error code. There was a slight amount of water under the dishwasher in the catch try was able to clear code dried the water ran unit for an hour and it never leaked and wouldnt give the error code. Could be a million of things but not getting any signs of leak so cant say for sure. Could be over suds also.

Unit would start was customers complaint. Disassembled unit and found the belt was broken also the front glide was all busted. Replaced belt started unit and it ran for about 1 minutes then shut off the motor sounded terrible. Disassembled unit again and found the switch on the motor has broken. Unit needs a new motor also needs blower just incase it cant come off. Added photo of quote

Customer complaint was the icemaker does not make ice. I ran the ice maker Phil test in the water valves buzzing. The water was not coming into the icemaker. I found the water fill tube was frozen. I defrosted the tube and now the icemaker gets water.
