Customer states the oven is not heating as it should. This unit has the oven heating all over, it chimes it reaches 350 and the actual temp is 315. It reaches 340 degrees and then takes about 15 minutes to recover to 340. I left the door shut and after about 35 minutes the temperature is around 377 degrees.Called tech support and talked with Jeff case number TCC241101718504Was able to get the average temperature on the oven. Found the oven running 26 degrees to hot. advised tech on adjusting oven control down 25 degrees. At the end LG stated the oven is operating as designed. Informed the customer of the findings and that cook times and rack adjustments need to be made accordingly

A series of really odd symptoms, noting that points to a specific fault or error.I plugged the appliance in, the lights turned on and voltage found to the main pcb but fans and compressor were not operating. The SmartHQ device is not compatible with this appliance. When I heard what the customers have been dealing with, I decided to try and replace the main power control board since I had it on hand I did not find any visible signs of damage the main power control board. Once I swap the board out and plug in the appliance everything came back online immediately the compressors started running and the fans started pushing cold air around both cabinets. I also replaced the fresh food door switch just because it sounds like sometimes it was working and sometimes it wasnt. I told the customers to put a bottle of water in their freezer and once a block of ice, they would be safe to load food back into the refrigerator.

Customer had two different issues first is the top oven not heating up on bake. The second issue was the top right rear burner not working. For the right rear burner not working. I removed the burner cap and found some insulation over the orifice tube. Remove the insulation, reassembled unit is working properly. For the reason of not baking disassembled to get to igniter. I removed the top basket of the freezer cabinet, that gave me access to the ice maker assembly. I forced a harvest cycle and provided resistance to the ice level arm, the ice maker continued to harvest even with the level arm being immobilized. I unscrewed the double wall oven from the cabinet to slide it onto my AllCart, moved the oven out far enough to access the main power control board and user interface board. I removed the access panel, unhooked the wire harnesses for both power boards, and transferred them onto the replacement boards. Assembled the appliance and slid it back into place, restored power and tested the bake function. Secured the oven with the screws provided. I recovered the refrigerant from the sealed system, cut out the defective compressor and filter drier and cleaned the remaining sealed system lines out with nitrogen. I brazed in a low side valve on the compressor, the suction and discharge lines and a new filter drier. Pulled a deep vacuum, double checked that vacuum pressure holds, charged the sealed system with 57 grams of R600 refrigerant and plugged the appliance in to verify repair. The low side and high side looked ideal for each respective half of the system. I passed along the expectations for reaching temperatures for the refrigerator and answered any questions.

Customer had two different issues. One is the door medallion/flipper wasnt opening and closing. Adjusted door and position of the flipper. Now door is closing and opening properly. The second issue was the freezer getting a bunch of frost buildup on food. Found that the doorfor the freezer was not installed properly. LEAKING. Customer said they only ran it twice and it leaked both times about a dime to quarter size. I had customer start dishwasher about 10 minutes before I came. I let it run for over a hour and it never leaked. I called techline and talked to Ray and because its not leaking, he advised that we cant do anything further and its likely a loading issue. I advised customer to not load bowels and pots and pans in the front because water could be hitting it and causing it to leak. If this comes back up we need to send it for a second opinion. WATER DISPENSER, WATER PUDDLING-WATER LEAKING FROM FREEZER. Found water leaking from the freezer floor out onto the floor. I removed the evaporator cover and found the defrost drain is plugged. I completely defrosted freezer floor and drain pan and steamed open the drain. Dumped hot water down drain and it drained great. I pulled refrigerator out and inspected drain hose on back and it looks good. Refrigerator is now fixed.

WON'T HEAT UP TO TEMP - LOOSES TEMP AND SHUTS OFF. Customer said it preheats fine, but then doesnt ignite after that even though they hear it clicking. Found the drawer underneath is full of pans. I removed them and tested and oven preheated and cycled perfectly for almost 40 minutes. Looks like the problem was with the pans underneath too close to the ignitor. I advised customer if it it happens again that we should replace the wire harness with the new one thats rubber coated.

Customer was wanting the default cycle as Normal when opening and loading dishwasher and starting new cycle. Currently the default cycle is at Heavy wash with all options on and could be a 4 hour wash cycle.In user manual it shows that the default cycle is the most recent cycle that was run. I started cycle they wanted and canceled it and now when door is opened it lists normal cycle.I explained this customer and showed them how it works. They are aware and now know that it will change based on most previous cycle. Dishwasher is working good.

Dryer getting thumping noise when running dryer. I ran dryer and thumping noise was there but then stopped thumping 1 minute later. As the dryer sits there the rubber wheels are getting a flat spot so for the first minute or so it is thumping until the rubber wheel evens out and sounds normal. They will use dryer as normal and if thumping noise continues through the whole cycle then it might be something else.Dryer is running and working good as im here.

Ran a recalibration cycle to test and reset through the board and motor position back to the home setting. Next will run diagnostic mode and test all the features to see whats wrong. WATER LINE IS SHUT OFF AT THE VALVE - NEEDS REPAIR. FF compartment is 44F and freezer is 1F. Found moisture all over the top damper assembly in the FF compartment, causing water to run down and leak out the bottom. The top FF door hinge is bent causing the door to not seal. This is causing warm air inside the FF compartment and creating condensation and ice by the damper and vents. I removed the hinge and bent it back and adjusted the door. Its now straight and sealing perfectly. I called the office number and updated them on what I found and called the customer and advised that she will need to unplug refrigerator for 48 hours to thaw out the ice buildup and dry everything out so it can circulate the air properly between the two compartments.

Adjusted right hand door switch assembly for better closer every time. Switch operates when door is closed every time. If door switch becomes an issue, recommend new right hand door switch #826258.
