I entered the top load washing machine into factory diagnostic test. I allowed the cold water valve to open. I allowed the hot water valve to open both valves. Good flow of water into the tub. The drain pump evacuated water very quickly. No stored error codes in the appliance.I passed along some pointers to the customer about detergent and sizes of wash loads. There is no source for substances left on clothes from the washing machine. Substance being left on clothes is introduced by the user.

Unit not cooling properly. Customer said within two days unit was at room temperature if not really close to it. They unplugged the unit and plugged it back in a day later never cooled. Tested unit and found all the fans running properly. Compressor is running also. Unit is not cooling but mechanical everything is running. Unit has a sealed system issue. Being the unit stop cooling within two days and the amps the compressor is running at we have a failed compressor. Unit will need a new compressor and filter dryer. Customer is going to to see what has/can get for coverage with his warranty attached is a copy of the estimate.

I turned the dryer on and monitored the temperature while the vent was connected to the external vent. The temperature built up when connected to the house vent shows that the airflow is not very good. I disconnected the dryer from the vent on the wall and temperature buildup was ideal for that appliance. I reached inside the house vent system and pulled out a substantial pile of lint, I referred the customer to dryer vent wizard. No parts or further repairs required. METAL ON METAL GRINDING WHEN IT STARTS. Dryer has light metal on metal sound when running. I disassembled dryer and rollers, idler pulley and glides look good. The drum is starting to cut into the front felt seal on the top, but is not rubbing on the metal and I cant find any reason for this noise. I installed new rollers and idler pulley and reassembled. Dryer sounds better and I dont hear any metallic noise anymore. Customer is going to use and if it comes back we should order the front bulkhead assembly part number D515533P.

The high and low side pressures indicated a failed compressor on this appliance. This was the second compressor to go into this appliance. I recovered the refrigerant and cut out the defective compressor. I cleaned, prepped and braised in a new compressor and filter dryer, pulled a deep vacuum. Once hardware was in and charged with 5.11 ounces of refrigerant. Once power was restored to the refrigerator the compressor began to cycle refrigerant exactly as expected. I told the customer to wait 24 hours of temperature being maintained before loading food back into their refrigerator.

I recovered the refrigerant inside the sealed system before cutting out the defective compressor and old filter dryer. I then replace the condenser fan motor assembly and installed the new compressor and new filter dryer. I pulled a deep vacuum and charge the system with 60 g of R600 refrigerant and checked high and low side pressure to verify flow of refrigerant and that the cabinets were beginning to cool off. I told the customer to place a bottle of water in their freezer and allow that to become a block of ice before loading their food back into the appliance and to wait 24 hours before loading food in.

GE front load washer. Several months old. Customer stated has biting rubber smell after spin cycle. Washer does not have spin only option. Started rinse and spin cycle. Pulled washer out. Removed rear panel. Monitored washer complete rinse and spin cycle. Monitored washer reach high speed spin. No evidence found of wearing or burning. Belt is in good condition. No wear marks foundThe only smells I can pick up on at this time is factory new smells. Advised it should get better over time. Customer stated that after running back to back loads like 3-4 is when the smell is the strongest. I can only suspect possibly an issue in the washer bearings. Required to repair would need inner basket, rear outer tub with seal. Would need roughly 3-4 hours to complete repairs for one technician.

Was giving an E11 error and not filling with water. I ran it and tested it for over an hour, and could not reproduce issue. Called Electrolux and we put it through test mode a couple times and all valves work, pressure sensor works, and could not reproduce issue. Stops after 2 minutes and says clean clint filter. I checked thermistors, and inlet and outlet read correctly. On a timed dry without the filter, it works perfectly. Same with filter. They were testing it on sensor dry with just a rag in it, so it wasnt touching the sensor bars. Recommended timed dry. Clean lint filter is automatic message it gives after every cycle. Made sure internal vents were secure. No error codes or faults.

Complaint not draining and giving the F9E1 code which is a no drain. Put unit in test mode ran through test mode all cycles are working. Even drain. Filled and drained multiple times and worked every time and never had an issue or any loud noise coming from the pump. Something probably got stuck in the pump and it cleared it out.
