Tested washer and soap dispenser fill holes were dirty and I just clean a little bit of the holes. i tested fabric softener fill and it did. I showed customer that in the manual it shows to use a small amount of fabric softener and then to dilute it with water until max fill line before it will empty the contents in washer during the rinse cycle. Customer will try that and if still doesnt work the soap dispenser housing would need to be replaced. Customer will try it per the instruction manual and will call back if they want to housing.

"The customer said within a week the freezer stopped cooling well and now the fresh food is not cooling well. The compressor is running hot and loud. I was unable to get a low side pressure. The high side was around 90 psi. When I unplugged the unit the high side pressure stayed around 90. I recovered the refrigerant and there was a lot still in the system. This all indicates a bad compressor. I replaced the compressor, filter drier and the main control board. I leaked checked and purged with nitrogen. I pulled a deep vacuum then recharged the system. The low side suction pressure was right around five psi, and the high side was right around 100 psi those pressures are normal. Operating pressures. There was not a lot of heat coming off the condenser when I was done but the pressures look good and the compressor was running a high speed. Advise the customer to give it 24 hours before it gets down to normal temperatures."

I Replaced the ignitor, and now it ignites within 15 seconds, there is glorious heat, it heats great and maintains temperature like a champ.

The customer said she washed some glass jar with paper on them. The dishwasher would not drain all the water out. Today I found water sitting in the bottom. I pressed cancel drain and it started to drain it but it was slow. I ran a tube down the drain hose to loosen up what was stuck. I then put into a drain and put the end of my vacuum in the drain hose and sucked out water and some of the paper. I hooked the drain hose back up to the garbage displays tried it again. The dishwasher drains good now.

"The customer complaint was the ice maker stopped making ice and water was leaking out the ice compartment. The freezer temp was above 20 and the freezer display was flashing HI. Today when I arrived the customer had it unplugged but for only a few minutes. I plugged it back in and let run for about 30 minutes. The fresh food was set to 43 and the freezer was set to 0. The fresh food temp was good, the freezer was between 9-17 degrees. I removed the freezer cover and the evaporator had barely any frost on the coil. I checked pressures and the high and low side were lower pressures than normal. I replaced the filter drier and installed a valve on the compressor. I leaked checked the system but found no leaks. I pulled a vacuum and then recharged the system and added a leak stopSealant. The high side pressure was 100 and climbing and the low side was around 20 and dropping. I advised the customer to wait 24 hours for temps to recover. I put it into for cool and the freezer was getting a good frost pattern. We turned the water back on and the ice maker."

Sensor reads good. Cycles good. Control board and reed switch are good. Confirmed Icemaker itself is good. Reason why its leaking water is because water is continually dripping into Icemaker. Either low water pressure under 22 psi coming to fridge or bad water valve. Customer has filtration system in house, changes it every 6 months, its due for a change. Tech support said to have him take filter out and put in bypass in fridge and it should not have leaking valve issue anymore. If it still does after doing that, and after changing water filtration filters, then it needs a new valve. He will call and let us know either way."

"The complaint is the whole unit will not cool at all. When I arrived, I found the refrigerator was unplugged. I plugged it back in and put it into force cool mode. The customer had the freezer evaporator cover removed because he said it was icing up and he defrosted it. I could see that the evaporator fins had been bent over and did not look straight anymore. The evaporator had no frost on it. I had added nitrogen and I could hear it leaking out of the freezer evaporator. The freezer evaporator has a hole in it and it needs to be replaced. it also has a defrost problem thats why the evaporator had been icing up. I checked the heater and bi metal and they both are good. It will probably need the rear main control board and it needs the freezer evaporator. I gave the customer a quote. They will talk it over and let us now.

"Icemaker is not working. Temps were hi 12 in the freezer, 46 in the fridge. The molex connector had fallen out of the icemaker. I re-installed it. "The complaint is the dryer does heat but takes a long time to dry. I put the dryer on a time dry high heat, and the high heat temp only got up to about 98 degrees and then cycled off. It did this a few times. I moved the dryer to the left and removed the duct elbow from the dryer. The elbow and inside the dryer was full of lint. I vacuumed out what I could. I ran the dryer with it disconnected and the high temp was up to 199 degrees. I hooked the duct back up to the dryer and the high heat again is in the 90s. The issue is the dryer duct from the dryer to the outside is plugged up somewhere. The duct needs to be cleaned by a professional duct cleaning company.

Gas leak is the complaint. Customer has had a smell from the beginning with this unit smelling like gas. Customer thought it was normal. They were getting some A/C work done and they could smell the gas. Center point red tagged it. Verified complaint let unit run for 10-15 minutes didnt really smell anything. Turned unit off removed the top and then I started to get a light smell. Disassembled to test valve couldnt find any issue. Installed coils and igniter just to test if that was keeping the valve open still getting a light smell but no bubble. Only thing I can smell like gas is the valve and all connections no leaks with bubble solution. The customer complaint was the timer knob is hard to turn. I tried turning the timer knob and it did not feel that hard for a ge. I took the new timer out the box and put the knob on the new timer. I held it in my hands and had the customer try turning the knob. She said it felt about the same and I tried it and I agree it feels the same. She said not to replace to replace it and as long as she knows its ok. I did check the air flow and it was ok but slightly reduced. I cleaned the dryer duct and put tape around the duct behind the dryer. I did move the washer out but I verified its all hooked up and I put a zip tie back around the drain hose so its secure.

"The customer complaint is the freezer section was warmer than normal and the ice cream was soft and the gel ice packs are soft. She said the fresh food section seems to be ok. I first took temps of the fresh food. The fresh food section was set to 37 and the temp I got after about 5 minutes was around 38 degrees, that is within range. I put my temp probe in the freezer and waited about 20 minutes. The freezer is set to minus 3 and I get minus 1.8. That is also within range. I verified the doors are shutting good, the lights are turning off, all fans work and I found no frost build up on the evaporator covers. I pulled the fridge out and verified the condenser fan is working. I cleaned up the dust and vacuumed behind it. I found no cooling issues today. I advised the customer a door could have not been closing tight or maybe it got stuck in defrost. Now its good no issues found."

"Display a week ago said 55 and their thermometer said 60 to 66. Its been that for a week. No condensation or water appearing in fridge. They turned it off. When I got here it was 77 but also off. Went through test mode. No error codes. Compressor and fans run great: Fridge never beeped or indicated high temp alarm. Frost formed on compressor while in test mode. We dont know if door got left open allowing excess frost, but said to let it run for 24 hours with two glasses of water and see how it is in 24 hours. Unit should be good now.
