Notes from real Omega Force service calls: the appliance, the problem we found and how we fixed it.

The customer said the lights were on but it was quiet and not cooling in either section. The customer power cycled the fridge upon request A hour after he reset the power the whole unit started to cool. Today its back to normal temps. I checked for saved faults and there were 0 faults. The compressor and fans are running. If the issue comes back please order the main pcb and inverter board.

Unit shaked and rattle a lot more then usual. It is a stacked unit and also had a squeaky noise. Found the blower was full of lint. Cleaned out lint. Also noticed the idler was squeaky. Oiled rollers Als. Replaced idler 131863007. Reassembled unit and everything was running great. Customer has happy with how quite everything was. Part used of truck stock 131863007

Customer complaint is, BURNERS WORK- oven takes about an hour to heat & temp isnt accurate. Inspected and tested. Found the ignitor was weak. Quoted customer to install new ignitor. Customer approved repairs. Installed new ignitor and tested. Oven is working great. Oven is now fixed.

The fridge and freezer are not cold as they should be. I found the evaporator is all frosted up. The defrost heater is bad. Matt brought me a new heater because I was out. I defrosted the evaporator and replaced the defrost heater.

Found that no power to igniter, checked all fuses and are good. Found that control board is bad and not sending power. COntrol board is bad,

The dryer would not tumble. I found the belt was broken. The idler was seized up and that caused the belt to break. I replaced the idler pulley and belt. I oiled the rollers and vacuumed the dryer. Its good now. I advised the customer to have the dryer duct cleaned ASAP.

The front bearing kit was worn out. I replaced the bearing kit and greased the bearing. The dryer was also not drying. There was a screen over the duct vent outside. I removed the screen. The dryer vents good.
