Door not shutting on left side of freezer and fresh food and freezer have been warm lately. Found the vent from ff into freezer blocked with ice and the blade for the evaporator fan fallen off. I glued the fan blade back onto the shaft (used glue for extra security) and steamed out the ice built up. I found a screw sticking out that was stopping door track from working right for freezer. I screwed that back in and made sure it was tight. Told them it will take 24 hours for everything to get back down to temp. Also reinstalled arm on icemaker assembly. Cycled icemaker and its cooling nicely now.

The whole unit stopped cooling suddenly. Pull the unit out and tap into the low side. The suction pressure was up around 40 psi which indicated it failed compressor. I remove the compressor and installed a new compressor and a filter dryer. I leak checked and purged the system with nitrogen. And then pulled a deep vacuum and recharge the system. Advise the customer to give about six or eight hours for to cool down.

Waterline was partially frozen. Needed the fill tube and gasket kit. Icemaker and valve themselves are fine now.

Customer complaint was getting some smoke and burning smell. Pulled unit out and removed blower cover inspected blower and heater both working and testing good. Did see black suet so inspected motor just a little black suet but not near the motor. Looks like something like some lint burnt up quick. Started unit with the vent unhooked getting highs at 140 to 146. With vent hook at 150 to 156. Ran both hook and unhooked for 10 minutes and no burning smell. Reassembled unit tested again and no issue. Customer will run a cycle and keep an eye on it.

"Customer stated that the burners and the oven were not working. Pulled unit out from the wall found no power on one side, checked the cord and the cord was ok. The outlet only had one side working. Not getting the full 240 volts. Customer will have the electrical repaired."

"Fresh food section has been warm on top, and 10 degrees on the bottom under the crisper. Found a bad fresh food evaporator fan/motor. Steamed off frost, replaced motor, now its circulating great. Told customer 24 hours to be down to proper temp throughout the fridge.

"Customers complaint is unit stopped cooling. On arrival unit was unplugged took static pressure and it was at just over 40 psi turn on compressor let it run for a while and it was only at 30 psi. We got a bad compressor customer approved putting in a new compressor removed the old compressor and filter dryer cleared out the system installed new compressor and filter dryer. Pressure tested vacuumed, then refilled with the right amount of Freon. Updated control board plug unit in cleaned up and put away. All tools and supplies unit has dropped over 10?."

"Complaint is that temps run about 50 degrees cooler than they should be on bake. I put my thermometer in the oven and ran it on 350 bake. I recorded highs and lows for 25 minutes, and after 25 minutes it was a total of 3532 degrees, which for 10 highs and lows averaged to 353 degrees, which is perfect. Customer said their lemon meringue pie wasnt done as quickly as it normally is, so I showed them how to recalibrate the oven 10 degrees and they will use lemon meringue pie potentially as a test control subject and see how it turns out now."

Today I replaced all the parts. I had trouble getting the basket out and back in but I finely got it. I ran wash and spin cycle. The washer is working good.

Error code F8E2.Installed a new drain pump and tested the cycle; no issues were found.

"Customer complaint: The machine will not heat up as before; the customer noticed no higher steam coming after washing for two hours. I tested all functions, and there are no issues; the machine control passed all errors. The customer insists that the machine is not performing up to the standards it did before. They would like a new one or the heating element replaced. Unfortunately, I was not able to find the heating element, only the fan, but the machine works great.Please look for parts to correct this matter and provide a quote. At the moment, the machine is running, and we will monitor its performance. I also noticed that the sanitize bottom was on and lock,' so I unlocked it and requested the customer to try running it again and let us know if it works. Maybe they used this function and prevented the machine from running normally."

The dryer comes on but nothing happens when start is pressed. I found the belt came off the idler. The idler pulley fell off the shaft. I quoted for the part. I replaced the idler pulley and oiled the other rollers. The dryer now runs and sounds good. The belt looked ok.

"Customer complaint is, NOT GETTING HEAT AT END. Inspected and tested. Found the heating element is fried. Customer approved repair. Installed new heating element and tested. Dishwasher is heating great in test mode and is drawing over 7 amps. Dishwasher is now fixed.

The water filter does not stay engaged in the filter head. I verified the filter is good and when you push it in place the filter pops back out. I replaced the filter head. Now the new filter stays in place. Water dispenses from the refrigerator no problem. This unit does not have a filter status indicator.

"Installed a new igniter, tested it, and the cycles for heating up were fast with no issues. It works great."

"Complaint is that the dishwasher is not drying the plastics as well as it used to. I checked the heater and it has 24 ohms. I checked voltage and the heater is getting 120 V. In test mode the heater is coming on and sizzling. They use cascade and I recommended finish. Also, I did a hard water test and it tests pretty hard. They said that lately the city has been making changes with the water system here. I recommended either a water softener or using Lemme shine. also, they run the dishwasher at night so I recommended getting a little water leak detector to put underneath the dishwasher. They understand that the dishwasher isnt going to fully dry plastics since the water is hard. But they will keep using rinse aid."

"Microwave is not safe to use. Customer showed me how when you run it, it makes large sparks inside. The top of the inside cabinet is warped and disfigured, and the floor of the inside is charred and makes large sparks. Oil is dripping down from the ceiling and front. Call Samir complaint making noise during spin and not draining. Customer had unit tipped over see photo on arrival. He said he didnt take anything apart. Found that there was a bunch of oil and black debris underneath the transmission. Double check the coupler thinking they have been the rubber boot little bit chewed up that was all good what I found is the transmission is bad. "Customer service complaint, overnight heating up on convection bake. Everything else is working properly tested the unit found everything is working properly besides convection bake took the cover off around the convection fan to inspect element. "Customer complaint is, NOT DRAINING. Inspected and tested. Found the air gap was plugged on the countertop. Cleaned out and tested. Water is coming out of it onto the counter. Removed black rubber hose from garbage disposal and its plugged solid. I bypassed air gap and hooked drain hose directly to the garbage disposal and put high loop in hose. Tested and dishwasher is draining great. Dishwasher is now fixed. "Fridge has been running really loud. Squealing, thunks,and pieces of metal hitting each other are the sounds the customer described. I also found a ton of oil underneath compressor area, under fridge. Appears that oil leaked from compressor. Fans all sound great. Dishwasher has not been draining for the last week. I found that the drain line was kinked where it connects to the garbage disposal. I repositioned the drain line and secured it with the zip ties. Now it drains awesome.

"Giving e24 error. Last time was a week and a half ago. I checked sump, thats clean with no restrictions around the impeller. Uninstalled the air gap and made sure its totally clean. No restrictions in the connection to the garbage disposal. Ran it on an express cycle. Ran great and no error. Did find a ton of soap suds. I put some cooking oil in the dishwasher and let it run, and that got rid of them. Runs awesome."

"Customer service complaint is taking multiple loads to dry clothing. On arrival unit was running with clothing for over 30 minutes. Unit was still nice and hot inside. It was take temperatures with vent hooked up was getting only up to 140 150? igniter working gas is kicking on. Everything seems to be working properly mechanically. Unhooked vent temps went right up to 205 correct temperatures it should be hitting. Customer has a dryer vent issue went outside with the customer was able to find the dryer vent. Its up high enough where I cant reach it and would need to get it professionally cleaned, the dryer itself is working properly

Installed new part from last diagnosis. Once installed tested unit multiple times to make sure it was operating And working properly. Also to make sure of no leaks ran over a gallon of water through and no water leaking in the fridge or behind. Unit is now working properly

"Customer complaint is, H20 SENSOR NOT DRAINING. Inspected and tested. Found the pressure sensor was plugged. Removed sensor and cleaned and reinstalled. Tested and dishwasher is working great."

"The machine was not cooling, and I found that the main fridge fan was covered with ice, and the sensor was intermittent. I replaced the sensor and defrosted it, then put it back together. After testing the cycle, need the 24 hours to return to normal operation.

I removed the old compressor and installed the new compressor. I replaced the filter drier and leak checked the system. I found no leaks and then purged with nitrogen. I pulled deep vacuum and updated the board. I then recharged the system with 4.7 ounces of 134a .

"Freezer warmed up and there was a red triangle symbol on the UI. Since then, today, its cooled down and the symbol is gone. Fridge has decent clearance of 1 1/2 around it. Lower right compartment doesnt get freezer cold. Only fresh food cold. Took temps. 45 in upper ff. 2 in lower left freezer. 36 in lower right, set to zero though. On phone with tech support found that the flex zone lower right compartment wasnt set to freezer. We set it to freezer. Told them 24 hours now to get down to temp, and to keep fridge out more with fan to help vent heat out:"

The complaint is the dryer will only run for a few seconds to a minute then shuts down. They can restart it but it will shut down again. I started the dryer and it ran for 30 seconds then shut down. I tried to spin the drum by hand but it had a lot of resistance. I removed the front panel. I found a cell phone charging cable wedged inside the front bulk head bearing. I removed the cable and cleaned the lint around the felt. I put the dryer back together and tested. The ran for 5 minutes and never shut off. The drum also has little to no resistance when I spin it by hand.

The concern is the temps may be too hot. I took temps at 350. The average temp I got was 355. I lowered the temp minus 5 degrees.

Not agitating. Replaced dogs. Works great now.

"Giving a drain error. Tried draining it, but no water came out. Discovered that it didnt have much water in it. No restrictions in drain line. I put into test mode and the errors were for a bad wash motor and bad inlet. I ran through a test cycle and it drained and filled but wasnt circulating. I then added some extra water to it and it wouldnt circulate. When I advanced it though a bit then it started circulating great. I cleared the error codes, and then cancelled it and put it on a regular cycle. It started by draining great. Then put on a normal cycle and everything runs awesome. Just needed to be reset."

Customer wanted a quote for replacing the drain pump. Quoted customer $464. to install new drain pump. "Customers complaint is the right front igniter, not igniting the burner and getting strong gas smell. They also said the right rear one is kind of flaky. I found the burner cap wasnt installed right on the right rear so adjusted that and now thats every time the front one try adjusting and moving. It still no issue it sparks here and there, but never ignite the flame Warranty companies already sent out igniter for customer. Installed new igniter. Once installed tested unit now its working properly. Customer also had a few other concerns. One of the concerns is the baking racks just slides out found the top one. The one they use the most is just worn out and starting to warp. The bottom one is still working properly. He is wondering if that would be covered under warranty, and if it could get it covered just to send him the part and he would install it himself. Another complaint is they think the rear of the unit is baking more and burning stuff if they dont turn it. Only thing I could notice on this is the element has more heating surface in the rear at it hes just wondering if anybody else had any issues with it and if there is a fix. I explained we will put it up to the warranty company and see if they can get that rack covered and see if theres any service bulletin for the baking and burning stuff in the rear.; saved tckt"

They did call LG but didnt get a CN code. LG said if they get in contact with someone that is LG certified, they will be able to get approval. Put washer into test mode and everything worked perfectly accept the cold water was just trickling in. I removed the filter and hooked water back up and ran washer through a rinse and spin and it worked perfectly. Also washer has old black rubber hoses. Washer needs a new water valve part number W11210463 and fill hoses. I called Hale and left message to call me back but havent heard anything. "Customer complaint is, NOT COMING ON. Inspected and tested. Washer gives a tE error about 5-10 seconds after powering on. This is a thermistor error. I removed back panel and found one of the wires that go to the thermistor is broken. The bracket that holds the wire harness for the thermistor and motor and sensor is broken. This is probably from the washer shaking from a failing spider support, but cant test any further. Washer is going to need a new thermistor part number DC90-10128N and bracket that I cant find on the parts diagram. Please call in and see what they want to do. The bracket and wire probably broke from excessive shaking, so Im guessing we have a bearing/support issue and if thats the case the washer would need to be replaced. I attached pictures of the bracket that I need. After I got done I talked with the customer and he said its been getting louder and shaking a lot and regularly walks across the floor. Replaced the wall cover being charcoal filters are built-in and couldve been trapping some smell. Recommended customer to use actual containers for the unit to trap the smell inside the containers because its going to circulate the air well and it will smell cause its circulating the air well and the unit. once installed tested unit made sure everything was working properly that I installed unit is now working properly

"Customer complaint is, START BUTTON DOES NOT WORK. Inspected and tested. Display turns on, but doesnt start a cycle. I put it into test mode and everything was working great. I hooked up SmartHQ and it said it was in showroom mode. I took it out of showroom mode and now everything is working perfectly."

"Customer states the dryer is making a noise. Cycled and tested sounds like an idler wheel noise, disassembled the unit. Found a drum rollers in good shape no issues. Found the idler wheel was making the noise. Quoted customer and was given the approval. Replaced the idler arm assembly. Put unit back together and tested. Installed control board from last diagnosis. Tested unit afterward. Unit is working properly. Leveled and had customer inspect leveling and position of refrigerator. Customer is happy with where it was at.

"Installed a new igniter; it heats up quickly with no issues. Tested cycles, and the heat is functioning well. Cleaned as needed and vacuumed. Also, I noticed that the main vent is blocked, preventing the machine from heating up. It will be necessary to clean the vent before putting it back into operation.

"Unit not cooling properly. Found the evaporator wall full of frost. Found that the defrost isnt working. Steamed frost out of unit then tested defrost heater found that is open. Meaning it is bad no parts benders have the part anymore. Locally was able to drive and pick one up from another technician to give the person same-day service and to get it wrapped up for them in one day. once I got the part installed, it tested everything its working great also emptied the water bin underneath the fridge from steaming the frost

"Returned, installed other board, clock, oven and all functions no work."

"Customer complaint all sudden stop cooling can hear everything running still lights are working just not cooling. Unit is covered under LG part warranty for compressor so we ended up ordering compressor going out there verified compressor was bad. Compressor was running, but wasnt pushing any Freon equalize pressure was at 50 psi. Explain diagnosis to customer approved repair installed new compressor. Once was installed pressure tested vacuumed and refilled with the correct amount of Freon. Once installed tested unit started cooling right away before I left it dropped over 10?."

The whole unit is not cooling. I verified the compressor has failed. I purged the r600 and purged the system with nitrogen. I removed the old compressor and installed the new compressor. I leaked checked and found no leaks. I pulled a deep vacuum then recharged the unit with 48 grams of R600. I advised the customer to give it 8 hours to cool.

"The customer said the dryer runs for a few minutes then shuts off. I verified with an empty load and on normal the dryer will shut off after a few minutes because the dryer is not sensing a wet load. I tested the air flow and its good. The heat test was also good. The high temp got up past 200 and it did it quickly. I entered test mode and tested the sensor bars, they passed and are working. I got a load of laundry wet and put in the dryer and selected normal. I made sure the energy saver was off. The dryer started with 40 minutes. I let run into it got down to 35. It seems to be working now. I advised the customer to make sure the energy saver is always off.

A new after market ice maker was sent. I installed the new ice maker and reset power to the fridge. I ran the harvest test 57 and the new ice maker passed. The old ice maker had ice sitting in the mold. I advised the customer to wait 24 hours for it to make ice.

"Icemaker funnel full of solid ice again. Water valve is good, but funnel full of ice and icemaker motor stripped. Icemaker still under warranty. Took out old icemaker and replaced with new one, and steamed out funnel. Customer has a reverse osmosis filter that is 16 months old, past due for changing. This is causing bad water pressure to fridge, and valve then doesnt fully close. They will replace filter.

"Dryer stops heating. Takes awhile to dry. Customer checked and it vents well according to customer. Up on a 3rd floor. Lots of burnt lint and dog hair. Cleaned out dryer, cleaned out bulkhead, and cleaned lint screen that had some dryer sheet wax build up. Replaced bad coils. Fires up great now and heats great.

"Taking multiple loads to dry. I found the lint filter totally caked with dryer sheet wax. We cleaned that off, and I also cleaned a ton of lint out of the bulkhead. Vent outside went from 4 mph prior to 14 mph after. Told customer they will also need to clean vent. They are going to do it themselves."

I installed the mounting bracket. I plugged microwave in and pressed start. The microwave sounds like it heats and the turn table motor spins.

"Customer thinks the dishwasher ate a cooktop burner cover. I took out the sump assembly filter, nothing in there. I checked behind the kick panel and under the door. Nothing there. Checked every part, its not in there. I left a note for her letting her know."

"Liquid spilled on cook top and went down behind control panel and then alarm kept going off: I pulled off panel and could see panel was good, but could see where liquid went onto board, and then a couple terminals went out on relay. I uninstalled board, unsoldered terminals, and resoldered. I cleaned up the remaining liquid on the board and above the board with rubbing alcohol. Turned on oven. Works great now."

The lid would not go down all the way and stay down. I replaced all the lid parts and lock and I replaced the shifter. I ran the washer on wash and spin. The washer is working good.

The customer said when the press self clean the door will lock but then the faults f90 and f95 pop up. I got to stop beeping and then open the door and pressed the light switch and then let the motor run until the fault went away. I then tried it 6 times and it now works for me every time. When the door was locked I tried pulling in the door and it never acting up. I let it run in self clean for 15 minutes and it worked just fine for me.

"Not draining out the water. Tenant has to wring out clothes to get all water out. I filled and then put the washer on spin 3 times. The utility tub drains slow, and the filter on the end of the drain is pretty plugged up. Its possible this is causing it to not drain as well as it should. Mechanically the washer itself runs great. I put a load of clothes in it, filled it up all the way with water, then put it on a spin cycle and it spins the clothes out perfectly. Cant find anything wrong with the washer. I called the owner and got vm. I texted him and let him know what I found. Just a trip charge for today. Recommend getting plumbing cleaned out and putting new filter on end of drain line."

Customer stated the unit was not heating or working correctly.Tested unit with water several times and it operated correctly every time. Ran it on 2 4 min cycles. No issues. Checked and found no bulletins on service matters. After checking found no issues customer will call back if there are any issues

"Returned, disassembled the unit, installed the gas valve, tested line for leaks. Reassembled unit, ran and tested had no smell of gas. Put unit back and hooked up the vent"

"Customer stated the refrigerator was not coolingArrived and found the unit unplugged, plugged in and waited the unit acted normal. Tested the amp draw on the compressor and found it around 1 amp the unit was cooling. Customer said the unit did the same thing 2 weeks ago and so the customer unplugged the unit and plugged back in. Replaced and programmed the Jazz board. Working great now.

"A few times recently it gave the E1 error. They have tried the last five times running the garbage disposal before they start the dishwasher cycle and they have not gotten the error code since. They still wanted to get it checked out. So I ran it five times and every time the drain pump drained great and it did not give the error. I detached the drain line and made sure there was no debris in the drain line. According to the Beko tech manual, it could be a bad flow sensor, wiring, or bad main control board. The customer will call us if they start getting the error code again when theyre running the garbage disposal. I told him the next step would be to replace the main control board and the flow sensor assembly.they would probably just replace the dishwasher though if that was the case. Its running great right now."

"Installed a new ice maker and main motherboard, and after the installation, the unit returned to normal operation. It will require 24 hours to start making ice."

"Customers complaint is getting frost everywhere in the freezer. Right away I noticed the door to the freezer, not shutting properly on the bottom, open the freezer and found a bag of frozen vegetables stuck in the way removed the vegetables and shut the door. Now its shutting properly explained to customer what I found. explained that they will need to power off the unit to defrost it completely and make sure the seals are nice and dry then they can turn it back on and start using again"

"Tenant had concerns about a burning metallic smell. They've noticed it only makes the smell when they use one particular frying pan. Its really burnt on bottom of pan and teflon is coming off pan. I tested all burners, all ignite well. The front right though they said sometimes just clicks. I cleaned a lot of mineral deposit off that igniter and burner assembly, and now it ignites awesome every time. Everything good to go."

Replaced main pcb and ribbon connector. Works great now.

"Customers complaint leaking water into crisper drawer. Verified complaint drawer is full of water no water underneath the drawer. Removed all items out of unit then traced the water from coming from the water filter pump area whenever I use the water, spencer or icemaker. Some water dripped out. "Cleaned the filter and added high lube, but with no success. The machine heavily leaks in the motor housing. It will need a new flow sensor switch and a complete new motor assembly, including the heating, drain pump, and new water hoses. "Customer complaint leaking out of left front. Verified complaint with customer. They showed me the little bit of water damage that was happening pulled unit out from under the cabinet tipped unit to see if I saw any evidence of water damage anywhere or signs of water running down any parts of the unit the only spots I was finding it was in the front under the boot inspected the door boot multiple times, and finally found a little Hole in the boot will need new door boot. "Giving a water drain error. Drain pump doesnt sound great, but filter is broken. Handle comes off and isnt attached to inner filter. Cant remove inner part without breaking it and we dont carry a replacement. Explained to customer that it may just need a filter cleaned, but wont know until I take out broken filter. Customers complaint not making ice. Icemaker twisted the dial to get it going and start. Harvest went through harvest is fine. Could hear water valve run but no water removed to kick panel to inspect valve found that no water line was hooked even to the valve doesnt look like really ever has blue original cap on valve. Nothing more I can do to make ice. Customer on icemaker rail on the left side is broken see photos. Customer is wondering if we can get that part approved and get that installed. Customer I will have the office look into it and see if we can get covered or not Im not sure.; saved tckt

"Customer complaint water leaking on the floor from icemaker up in the fresh food section. She mentioned that there was a loud noise inside the freezer sounded like something rubbing and then it quit and now theyve had the issue. The temp in the unit was over 40?, but the doors have been open multiple times. Found the evaporator fan is not running in the freezer, it is getting proper voltage. Motor has just failed. Put icemaker in harvest mode. Everything on the icemaker side is operating correctly. The problem is its not freezing and all harvest will go through its cycle and then overfill the icemaker. Will have to start with the evaporator fan that has failed so we can get it cooling properly up in the refrigerator and then freezer . Will need new motor is part is now not available. Explain diagnosis to customer look a little bit more on our side. See if we can find something. Please source part available and update customer either way.W11224591 motor evap; saved tckt"
