Customer complaint is, wont turn on. Inspected and tested. Found the belt was broken. Also the idler pulley is the old style with the bushing. Customer approved repairs. Installed new belt and idler pulley and vacuumed out inside of dryer. Tested and dryer is working great. Dryer is now fixed.
2 men were not needed.

Replaced motor and arm, Tested and dishwasher fills and both arms are spinning and dishwasher is now fully draining. Dishwasher is working good as im here.

Making funny noise and backing up. I found the machine had a strut that fell out of its holder. I popped it back on and tested the washer it ran great. The floor drain did back up but by moving it from the stand pipe to the deep sink we were able to stop the backing up.
“Seth's skill was beyond expectations. He quickly found a solution to the washer making funny noises and fixed it in minutes( stabilizer came loose). All while sharing the problem and how I could address it if it happens again. In addition, he was came up with an inexpensive but brilliant method to address the floor drain not keeping up with washer discharge( have the discharge hose drain in the sink tub to go to the drain more slowly- one zip tie to the pipe). We were impressed. Tony, St. Joe PS, Dana at the shop said he would do me right. And Seth did.”

Customer complaint is the microwave does not heat at all I checked the door switches and the door switches are all good. I pulled the microwave down to inspect the magnetron and after some testing I found the mag is just fine and Im not getting the proper voltage to the transformer. One of the relays on the main board has failed. It will need a new main control board.WB56X20629 main controlI

Customer complaint is, dented frzr door. Installed new freezer door that was shipped directly to the customer. Refrigerator is now fixed.

Customers concern as shes washing the same typical load she has for three years and the machine is not performing as she expects. Upon arrival and inspection I checked Smart HQ and she had washed 19 loads. We had three errors because of unbalanced loads although customer has stopped the machine and redistributed loads whenever she hears it banging. we put a standard load in and watched it in the machine filled to the capacity of 30 gallons that was 15 inches deep. I confirm this with GE and this is the new standard that came loaded with the new control board.. no repair possible machine is working as designed.

Unit is dead. In the past when it wouldnt start they would slam the door. Then lately that wasnt working very often, so they would hit the breaker, but then it totally died. Found some bad microswitches and a bad 20amp fuse. Replaced all and now it runs and heats and the fan blows and light comes on. But turntable doesnt turn. Checked motor and its open. Customer will replace that part themself. They have the part number and have access to the two screws that hold it in.

Dryer is leaving marks on clothes. Upon arrival and inspection I found the felt seals were burnt causing the marking on clothes. We talked about replacing the seals but ultimately her dryer duct was blocked it was only flowing at 6 miles an hour. Spoke with the customer she asked us to only clean the dryer duct so I did and I was able to increase the dryer duct speed by 10 miles an hour. The temperature in the cavity looked great after the cleaning and stayed under 220?F. The dryer will still continue to mark close but will not overheat. The dryer is now operating with the correct temperatures as designed.
