Customer complaint is not heating and loud during tumble. Lets get up till about 130 and 140?. Unit has a long exhaust pipe removed the pipe and now getting temperatures right where they need to be around 190 to 170 on a medium heat. See photos. Shorten the vent reconnected tested was still about that 130 to 140 so it has a airflow issue. I am not able to clean the vent because its over the garage and I dont have a ladder to reach itjust out of reach for me. Remove the front cover of the dryer and found a piece of a sweater. The metal part of a string caught in the front bearing removed reassembled now it sounds good. Advised them to get the vent cleaned.

When I arrived I found the fresh food was not cooling and the fan was not running. The temp was 59 but the display showed 34. I put into FF for the fridge. The fan came on and the evaporator has a perfect frost pattern. I checked for fault codes and the only one that came up was for the FF fan disconnect. I reset the power to the fridge and reset the codes. Now the display shows the actual temp in the FF section of 59. The FF started to cool and the fan runs. When I left the temp was down to 54. The customer will give it a few days to cool.

"Customer complaint is, ICE MAKER IS LEAKING WATER. Customer said the FF ice room gets all covered with ice and freezes everything up. Theyve had it shut off for a while so there was no ice in there. FF temperature is 38F and freezer is -3. I found customer has really hard water and both the water dispenser and the ice maker fill tube are covered in mineral deposits restricting water flow causing to much water pressure when it fills. I cleaned them both out and cycled the ice maker and it filled and wasnt spraying all over anymore. Ice maker is now fixed."

"Customer is complaint is do not ceiling on top right corner. This is a big fresh food door on top freezer door on the bottom. Spoke with high send Techline there is no Bolton on it. He says it would need new hinges. Hes hinges can go for right or left side. As it sits, now looking at unit hinges are on the left side. One bolt is broken on the top left side. Techline recommends just switching the sides and starting over on the right side. Will need new top hinge and lower hinge. Also new bolts for the top and bottom hinges. And any kind of insert into the hinge itself to the door if there is one. The seal itself looks good and I think we dont need to replace that. I ran the dryer on time dry high heat. With the dryer hooked the high temp only got to 158 degrees. I disconnected the duct and now the high temp was 180. I hooked the dryer duct back up and let it cycle a few more times. The low temp would get down to 137 before it cycled back on. The high temp with the duct hooked up is about 179. I went outside and checked the airflow. The airflow is less than 4 mph. I put my brush in the duct and I was pulling out insulation and star. I think theres a nest in it. I advised the customer to call a duct cleaning company.

The screen is plugged with lint. Its over 10 feet so I could not remove the cover. The cover needs to be removed and the duct needs to be cleaned. I cleaned out the inside of the dryer.

Customer states it stopped during the middle of a cycle and hasnt run at all since. Turn the machine on and didnt hear the drain pump come on even though there is water in the tub. Tipped it over to look at the drain pump and there was arcing around the drain pump. Unplugged and discovered a pinched wire on the drain pump that had broken. Put a wire cap on it and taped it up with electrical tape. Tested and now everything is working perfectly like it should be.

Customers complaint is dryer wont start power on but wont start on any cycle. First thing I checked was the control board to see if there were a burnt up relay. I didnt see any burnt up relay but its very common on these so I tapped on the relay a few times put it back together units started working Then then after a few test it stopped working removed. It tapped on the relay again started working again. Quoted customer for two different repairs one to replace the control board and one for me to repair the control board by replacing the bad relay. customer decided to go with replacing that relay. Ohmed at 1.105 k ohms, which is 75 degrees which is the temp inside. I then reinstalled oven and ran it on a 350 bake, and it preheated and averaged 350.

When you press start the motor would just buzz. I held the door switch with my knee then pressed the start button and at the same time I turned the drum. I heard a loud pop then it started. I took the front off and the only thing I found was a quarter sitting inside the blower housing. Maybe the quarter was stuck in the front bearing and that was keeping the drum from spinning. I tried it 10 more times and dryer started every time and is working great. The door latch was broken so I replaced the latch.

"Returned, checked the venting was informed the customer cleaned the venting with a shop vac. Removed the vent on the outside of the house and cleaned the venting, made sure to run the brush all the way to the dryer. Found the customer had the incorrect venting in the ceiling. Had to take part of the ceiling down to put the outside part back on. Hooked the dryer back up and ran. Put a temp gauge in the drum the temps ranged from 150 to 220. The unit is working correctly.
