The customers oven had been taking a long time to reach set temperature, and when set temp had been reached the oven wasnt very hot at all. I accessed the bake element at the back of the range, I found a burnt female lead separated from one side of the element. I secured a new female lead to the power supply line and connected it to the bake element. I verified that the bake element has continuity and started a bake cycle. The lower bake element is heating again and the oven reached temperature very quickly, the range is fully functional again.

I observed that the compressor was very noisy, refrigerant not cycling but not leaking either. I recovered the refrigerant and pushed nitrogen through the remaining sealed sudden system lines. I braised in a new compressor and new filter dryer, and pulled a deep vacuum to charge the seal system with refrigerant. The system was charged with 56 g of refrigerant and started cycling as soon as power was restored to the appliance. The high and low side pressures looked ideal for a post charge system. I told the customer to wait 24 hours before loading food back into their freezer and fresh food cabinet.

I entered the dishwasher into the eight step diagnostic sequence available with this model of appliance. The dishwasher did not produce any failed component codes during the diagnostic sequence. I started a Normal wash cycle, the dishwasher filled and began cycling like normal. I opened the door to inspect the water temperature, the water felt cold to the touch. I ran water out of the faucet next to the dishwasher, hot water took almost two minutes to flow from the fixture. The appliance isnt filling with water that is hot enough to clean dishes and then evaporate during the drying period of the wash cycle. I took several pictures of the hot water settings and readings found on the hot water system.

Issue is filled with water, but the pump never kicks on to actually wash anything. Remove the tow cake panel got voltage of 120 to the motor. Could hear the motor hum but never kicked on. They dont really use this dishwasher often because its downstairs. Unit still looks brand new. Let customer know it. Could you need a new motor or it could be just a little bit stuck. If its a little bit stuck, I can disassemble and free it to just run it more often. Recommend a lease once a week or every other week. Disassembled got the motor running reassembled tested for about 10 to 20 minutes. Unit is working great customer had concern about the door gasket. Double check and put a little food grade on it to double check. It seems like its feeling and looking good

Made adjustments to duck bills for faster water flow during defrost cycle. Used steamer to thaw ice build up from evaporator panel. Found restricted condensate drain. Used shop vac to clear ice build up. Verified condensate water can now drain properly. Reassembled refrigerator.

I removed the old icemaker assembly and unplugged it from behind the evaporator fan cover. I installed the new icemaker that was sent by the manufacture, reassembled the evaporator cover and installed the screws, securing the icemaker assembly. Once everything was back in place, I tested the harvest cycle, the icemaker to ensure that it fills with water without any more inconveniences.

I access the wash motor and removed it to install the new O-rings. I secured the wash motor in place with the replacement O-rings and tested the wash motor for function and to check for any leaks. The dishwasher washes drains fills without any leaks and is good for normal every day use.

The dishwasher was continuously producing error code DE referring to drain error. Recently it has not appeared as often, but still appears.I removed the existing drain pump. Tested the drain pump windings for resistance, very high and out of range according to LG tech sheet. Replaced the drain pump motor and started a wash cycle. The appliance filled with water, washed, drained and cycled through the various stages of the wash cycle. I filled the dishwasher three times and drained it each time to verify drain pump function and examined the undercarriage for water leakage. The dishwasher is repaired and good for normal everyday use.
