This is a different build then before. No ice. Found the ice maker was turned off. Maintenance said they were messing with it and might have hit that. I press the harvest test button ice maker. It harvested the ice then filled. Freezer temp inside was at 4 degrees so cold enough to make ice. Water valve is good. Explained to maintenance to check it tomorrow. The complaint was the ice maker was still not making ice after I left. It was making a lot of noise and when they had a power outage a couple ice cubes fell down. I pulled the unit out and removed the rear cover. I found the plug to the hot gas valve was disconnected from the valve. I plugged it back in then put the back back on. I turned the ice maker back on but then unplugged it and then back in a few times because I was trying to get all the hoses and cords lined up so I could get it back all the way. I started the ice maker and after about 20 minutes it dropped ice. I then waited another 20 minutes and it again dropped ice.

I put the dishwasher in test mode and the heater came on. I removed the board and found the heater relay had one bad solder spot. I also found the soap dispenser motor is melted and the triac on the board is burnt. The customer does not use the dispenser so they only wanted the heater fixed. I repaired the heater relay solder spot.

"Customer complaint is, MAKING A LOUD NOISE ALL THE TIME. Inspected and tested. Freezer temperature is 2F and FF is 39F. Noise is coming from the freezer evaporator fan. I put refrigerator into defrost and I could hear sizzling coming from behind evaporator cover. There's a ice ball on the outside of the evaporator cover by the ice maker fan. I defrosted freezer and removed evaporator cover and there's ice around the ice maker fan. I defrosted evaporator and fans, and tested. Fans are working great. Refrigerator is still making ice. There was only ice buildup around the ice maker fan, the rest of the evaporator looked good. They have 5 kids and the refrigerator gets opened a lot. Im thinking because the refrigerator gets opened a lot, its sucking in warm air and its accumulating around the ice maker fan and freezing. Otherwise everything else is testing good."

"The whole unit stopped cooling. The compressor runs but its not cooling down. Someone has added valves to the system but never replaced the filter drier. I added coolant and nitrogen to locate the leak. I found a leak from the fresh food evaporator low side. Because its been tapped into and the leak is on the low side moisture can get sucked into the system and damage the compressor. It will need a freezer evap cover, fresh food evaporator and compressor. Please allow the time and submit for approval. "Customer complaint is, The dryer is on the fritz. It turns on and spins just fine, but it doesn't seem to dry anything. Inspected and tested. Turned dryer on a timed dry high heat cycle and it was heating but only got to 170F and then took forever for the heat to drop before it cycled on again. I disconnected vent and found it was plugged at the back of the dryer. I cleaned out the plug in the vent and reconnected vent and now heat is cycling between 210F and 120F. Dryer is now working great.

I tried the washer again and now it drains and spins.

Today I tested all the joints on the evaporator for leaks and I scanned the entire evaporator using my fieldpiece leak detector. I found no leaks from the evaporator. I pulled the fridge out and removed the compressor cover. It looks like the compressor may have been replaced before. I used my leak detector and found refrigerant is leaking from the filter drier Schrader valve. I removed and replaced the filter drier then fixed the other joints. I pressureized the system to 200 psi with nitrogen and leaked checked every joint again. This time I found no leaks. I purged the entire system and the condenser with nitrogen. I pulled the system down to 230 microns. I replaced the main board and updated the board. I recharged the system to 5.11 ounces.

Found that the breaker trips as soon as fridge is plugged in. I checked all wirings for the heater kit I installed. I unplugged heater and evap cover and refrigerator still tripping beaker. Ice box was completely frosted over to where i couldnt pull out the ice bucket last time. Customer said he would let it thaw out and left the refrigerator unplugged even after i did the drain kit install and when it did thaw out he plugged back in fridge and started tripping breaker. I unplugged ice auger and refrigerator now turns on and is starting to cool.Appears that when thawing out the ice box caused auger assmebly to short out and cause breaker to trip. Customer left auger assmebly unplugged and refrigerator get ice errors but i bypassed that so the refrigerator will cool. Refrigerator is currently cooling and running.

Theres moisture on the FF mullion and black mold on the bottom half of the gasket because the door gasket flapper is ripped off and not sealing. FF mullion is getting 2vdc and ohms out at 23.5. Im going to replace both FF door gaskets because there not sealing great around the mullion and I think moisture is running down and getting on the top of the freezer drawer. I had wiped the mullions dry last time and there both wet again. Installed both new FF door gaskets and did a software reset on the board.
