I removed the front panel and tested the hi limit fuse. The fuse tested bad. I jumped the fuse and the range started. I started a bake cycle and the fan and elements came on. The customer said after they moved the fridge it had leaked some water. It has been 3 days since it leaked last. They had it plugged in but water was not hooked up. The customer showed me some water that was leaking down the fresh food rear panel. This turned out to be a Samsung built fridge. This model needed the Samsung drain kit. I replaced the drain tubes in the back and installed the new parts to the evaporator. The metal foam protector was rusting so I applied foil tape all around it to help block the rust and keep water from leaking out the front evaporator cover. ; used 1 DA82-01415A (DRAIN KIT) from stock

"The customer reported the dishwasher would shut down and display a be fault code. The code is a letter b and the letter E. This code means that the dishwasher has to many suds inside. I verified the dishwasher is working properly. I sucked all the water out from the drain hose and cleaned up the sump area. I ran vegetable oil and vinegar through the dishwasher. Cook top had two different complaints one sometimes would continue to spark even after being ignited. And another some burners the flame was bigger on one side. "Custoemr says that it doesnt drain or will leak out bottom. As im here the washer top and bottom were taken apart and the drain trap was removed. The pump housing that holds it into place is cracked so pump is loose. I put drain trap back and ran test. Washer filled, agitated, drained and spun. Not %100 what cause of issue is but i can see that drain pump housing tabs that secure it are cracked so when washer is running the pump housing shakes a lot.But washer is working and completed cycle as im here so i dont think its the drain pump causing the problem, its just loose. The customer complained the dryer duct was disconnected behind the wall panel. With the customers permission we pulled the wall panel back until it cracked so I could gain access to the dryer duct. I found where it was disconnected and I hooked it back up and tape the joint with foil tape. The dryers airflow is very poor. The dryer vents out under the deck. The customer crawled under the deck and was able to pull some lint out of the duct. Advise the customer to call a dryer vent cleaning company that will go underneath there and clean it properly with tools. I looked at the washer and found that is leaking water from underneath and the wash basket is flopping up and down so the tub bearings are bad.

The customer complaint was of mold smell and not washing well. I found when I spun the agitator that the agitator would just spin and not ratchet. The agitator dogs are worn down. I replaced the agitator dogs and cleaned the top of the drum. It really was not that dirty. I ran some cleaner through the washer. "Smells natural gas when running. Checked the gas line connector in back and it smells strong like gas. Turned off gas, disconnected, found just a little plumbers tape. I put plumbers putty on it, and now when testing with blue liquid no bubbles like I got before. Also Checked air flow. 23-24 mph behind dryer, 11 outside. Recommended getting vent cleaned. Tried twice to run payment but it just times out. Isnt working. Customer will call to pay."

The customer complaint was it was not making ice. I ran the icemaker fill test and found that it was not filling with water. After troubleshooting and verifying the icemaker functions I found the water fill tube was frozen. There is ice building up around the rear of the air duct housing. I quoted the customer BB for the air handler kit and installed the kit. I ran the icemaker test and its working properly.

The customer said their was still some dripping from the back of the control housing. Water must be leaking past the seals when it defrost. I was sent info on this model regarding a issue with water leaking into the fresh food. With the seals I have on my truck I did sealed around the air diffuser and replaced the drain ferrule per the tech bulletin. All the seals around the doors look good. It does not appear that water is leaking down from the ice maker fill tube. I sealed the tube on my first visit. I raised the front legs so the doors shut faster and tighter. Not sure what else can be done.

"Customer complaint is, DRAIN PUMP CONTIOUSLY RUNNING, OC ERROR CODE. There was water in the dishwasher and it wasnt draining, but was trying to. Customer said that the error went away and it started working. I filled and drained the dishwasher 3 different times and it was working perfectly. Im guessing the drain pump is failing intermittently, but not sure because its working great while testing. I quoted customer $453. to install new drain pump if it does this again. Unit is drying well is getting heat though. Unit is in a town home. They are getting the vents cleaned on the 19th. When running with the vent hooked up unit was getting extremely hot over 220 degrees on electric dryer. When unhooked we are getting a high of 170 and keeping a good average temp. Cleaned up the blower wheel and what ever I could then reassembled. Unit is not heating properly due to poor venting. Removed out side vent cap/guard and was a bunch of lint covering the screen removed that also and now unit is working properly

"Customers concerned that when they run the dryer they get a kerosene type smell. The customer did inform me that they did some staining a few days ago and the smell seem to start around the same time they did the staining in the garage. I check the airflow on the dryer and the airflow outside is in the 20 mile an hour range. I ran the dryer on high heat, the dryer cut up to about 190?. I removed the lint screen and found it restricted with soap and fabric softener buildup. I clean the screen really good and put it back in the dryer. I ran a dryer for 25 minutes on high heat and the smell is a lot better now. I advise the customer to clean the lint screen often and kerosene smell after staining or using oil base paint can happen."

"Leaks, I was able to see evidence of the leak although I never was able to re-create while I was on site. I checked the errors and called GE to see if there were any known issues with leaking from the soap tray. The only thing GE noted was if the machine is not level it can cause leaking from the soap tray. This is a stacked unit and the customer ahead and stacked it and moved it out of its standard place. Its possible that it does tip forward with the weight of the dryer on top of it and its final resting point. I adjusted the feet and advised customer to double check level once its in place at loaded. No issues were found was not able to re-create issue."

Unit isnt hooked up. Customer had floors redone. Where do I start. The unit was super hard to remove out of the spot because the top of the dishwasher was rubbing on the granite. Secondly plumper was out said he couldnt fix it because the valve was broken. Which is true. Replaced valve. For some reason the water line was gone. The customer is concerned about the sludge and gunk buildup that comes out in the washer every few weeks. I realize the customer its just soap and gunk buildup. I cleaned around the gasket clean the gasket drain. I ran bleach through the washer and then vegetable oil to cut the suds. I left it on a tub clean cycle and advise the customer to cut back on soap usage.

The complaint is the freezer is not holding temp and has been getting worse for about a month. I had the customer remove the food from the freezer. I removed the evaporator cover and found frost building up mostly on the right side of the evaporator. The left side of the evaporator was slightly cold and my wet finger would not stick to the coil. This is a static cools condenser model. I pulled the fridge out to feel the temperature of the condenser soils. The coils are room temp. The refrigerator is loosing coolant and it will until its empty then it will not cool anymore. I called the owner and advised her it would be better to replace the refrigerator. ; (serial indicated as 'NotAvailable' so system created UIS w/pseudo #)

The complaint is the dishwasher was completely dead. I tested for power at the main board and I got nothing. I removed the lower kick plate and wire cover. I found the wire nut for the black wires was starting to melt. I cut the wires back and replaced the wire nut.
