Customer complains the dishwasher will not drain or circulate. Upon arrival and inspection I found the onboard fuse on the main control board have failed. Which affects both circulation and drain pump. I priced control board and found it to be a national back order to be manufactured again in July. I called GE and they recommended the drain pump and circulation pump be changed at the same time as the main control board as a high voltage draw typically is the cause of the failure of the fuse thats on the board and its typically the circulation pump. Customer had previously replaced the heater assembly and the drain pump. customer was unable to make a decision at the moment will call into the office if he wants to move forward. Note be sure to use only the newly redesign control board per GE the old control board part number has many defects and will cause customer problems down the road.

"Had an F0 error code. Buttons on touchpad were not working. I turned off power at breaker, which customer had not done yet. Turned power back on, and it gave an F1 error, but when I hit cancel it unlocked the keypad with no error codes anymore. I put on bake and preheat it to 350. It heated great. Tried broil too. That worked as well. Tried all buttons and all buttons work. No errors anymore. If it fails again, I would recommend ordering a new touchpad membrane and main board, and installing new control membrane first on return visit. It is a black membrane."

"Customer says has burning smell and smoke came out inside of drum after a load of sheets. I ran a load of towels in washer and it agitates and spun out good. Appears that the sheets wrapped itself into a ball and threw the drum off balance a bit causing the inner steel drum and rubber causing friction burn,smoke. I informed to use extra towels or items in the wash to balance out sheets so there is a even load to balance inside drum better.Washer is working good as Im here."

Customers complaint with the fridge is that after a power outage it did not come back on and restore power or cool. Upon arrival and inspection I found no physical evidence of power. There was electricity at the outlet so I inspected the control board and found many of the capacitors were swollen. I replace the control board and unit begin cooling instantly. The interior lights unfortunately are still not working. I spoke with the customer and at this point they want to hold off on pursuing repair for those. Do you wanna begin cooling I watched an over 20? temperature drop over 15 minutes. I advise the customer to leave it empty and let it run for 24 hours. The fridge is now fixed.

I remove the relay control board that was burnt and we sent it in to be rebuilt. I installed the relay control board and repaired a few wires that were damaged. I tested the oven and both bake and broil worked perfectly. I also replaced both door hinge and spring assemblies as it was weak and not sealing properly. The wall oven is now fixed.

"Customer complains to dishwasher leaks upon arrival and inspection I found the dishwasher had a bad bottom wiper and no splash shields. I installed them and leveled the machine as it was tipped forward a half an inch. I tested by running a rinse cycle and machine stopped leaking although I did see signs of suds. I left instructions on dealing with suds and recommended they use a citric acid-based cleaner to help with heavy mineral buildup in the unit. The dishwasher is now fixed;

"After further diagnosis, discovered that freezer was only 15 degrees. There is a giant ice ball on corner of evaporator. The evaporator is clear with no frost after 20 minutes. Leaking evidence of a leak was found at the front kick panel as well as underneath. Upon arrival and inspection I found a house of water stuck in the insulation. I ran through to rinse cycles and found no active leak but evidence of heavy suds inside. I ran cooking oil in the tub and cleared the contamination. No leaks were found.
