It could be sewer gases coming from the stand pipe in the wall, but I didnt smell anything. I advised customer to run a heavy duty washer cleaner through the washer and see if that helps."

"Customer complaint is, STOPS MID CYCLE & KEEPS FOREVER TO DRY & TURNS ON & THEN OFF CONTINUOUSLY DURING CYCLE. Inspected and tested. Found the wrinkle prevention was on and thats why it would turn on and off continuously. I started dryer on a timed dry cycle and watched it for over 20 minutes and it was cycling perfectly between 190F and 130F. Airflow on outside of house is 19 mph. Customer is using sensor dry cycles and is running very large loads. In test mode the sensor bars are testing good. I advised customer that if you have really large loads, or loads with fabric that dries quicker than other stuff it can shut down early. I advised customer to try using timed dry and see if that helps. Dryer is testing perfectly."

Customer was getting a gas smell from dryer. Customer had gas turned off on arrival. Turned gas on and put leak detector all over any connections to the dryer. Then I removed the top of the dryer and ran the unit. The igniter was working properly and no gas smell inside the dryer I did find there was some bubbles from the leak detector on the connections to the dryer very small but they were their. Tighter fitting and ran dryer and put more leak detector on the joint. Now unit is making any bubbles for leaks and dont get any smell; (serial indicated as 'NotAvailable' so system created UIS w/pseudo #)

I found small drops of water are dripping down from the fresh food air cover. The drains are clear and the ice maker is not leaking or dripping water. The fresh food temp was colder than 37 when it was set to normal setting. I moved warmer and put insulation tape around the foam seal. I also put some clear silicone at the top of the fresh food compartment where the cabinet and Linder meet. Advised the customer that the foam get weaker with age and the whole compartment mag not be keeping the warm air out as good as it use to.

WD21X25367 - UI back order until after 8/8, WD19X25700 - shows out of stock back ordered as well. Only one of the parts that GE shipped was the right part. "Customer complaint is, SLOW ICE PRODUCTION. Customer said that ice cubes had been getting stuck. It did make quite a few ice cubes over the weekend. Inspected and tested. Refrigerator temperature was 36F and freezer was only 10F. I removed ice maker and found one of the teeth on the guard was broken. I removed the evaporator cover and there was not a lot of frost on evaporator. I defrosted evaporator and after 20 minutes it only had frost on about 50 percent. The sealed system is failing. I showed this to the customer. I dont think replacing the ice maker is going to help because the refrigerator door is opened a lot and the refrigerator cant keep up."

I removed the fresh food panels and checked the fan operation. I out a magnet over the reed switch and the fan came on and was working good. I then checked the freezer evaporator frost pattern. The frost pattern was perfect. The freezer fan is also working good. There are no active faults flashing on the display. "Has been giving an FH error. Took water lines off back. There was sand in them. Cleaned that out. But water valve still has junk inside it, so water struggles to enter. Water was pooling up in the boot, I cleaned junk out of the drain holes, but noticed the boot is leaking. Lastly, drain pump has a loose impeller. to move ahead with the repair. ; Replaced 1 WP8181694 (Water inlet valve) and 1 WP8181850 (Bellow) and 1 280187 (Drain pump) drains great now. No leaks from bellow. Water valve supplies water better now, sounds much better. Ran it for 20 minutes. Recommended Affresh cleaner since there were many soap suds in washer."

No draining well. Found a lot of film built up on the filter. Cleaned out the filter and the screen that sits on top of the sump assembly. Disconnected the drain line from the garbage disposal and attached my wet vac to the drain line. Sucked water through the drain line easily. No restrictions. Found a bunch of thick black sludge built up where drain line connects to disposal. Cleaned all the sludge out. Filled it with water. It drains nice and strong now. Can hear all the water coming into the disposal. When I first got here and did a drain it took 5 minutes. After cleaning everything it took 2 minutes to do whole drain cycle.

Found the heating element has failed and the thermistor is leaking on the bottom of the sump. Also the circulation pump and fill valve are extremely loud.
