Unit not cooling properly and frost build up on back wall. Steamed then disassembled and found that the defrost isnt working. Tested with multi meter and found it is open which means its bad. Replaced bad defrost eater tested unit is now working properly. Explain to customer. Ill take a little bit to regulate the temperature again and then itll be good.

Customer complaint is, cooling ok, frost build up on the top of the door. it closes ok. door alarm doesn't work. This is a garage freezer. Inspected and tested. Temperature is 3F and it was in defrost when I got here. Theres frost on the inside top of the freezer. Door is sealing perfectly everywhere except the top right corner. Fan is working and door alarm. I was able to adjust the seal and its sealing good now.

Unit not cooling. Temp was more like fridge. There was a big ice dam on the bottom. Steamed out ice dam and watched frost pattern. The very bottom isnt frosting up. So either the system has a slow leak or just was caused by the ice dam. Let customer know what I found; they will keep an eye on it.

The customer said the freezer stopped cooling well and was making a loud noise. I found the fan was blocked by ice and not running. I removed the fan and it works fine. Under the evaporator there is about 2 inches high of ice and ice was built up behind the fan. The customer wants to un plug it and defrost it manually.

Freezer continually beeps. Found the door wasnt closing all the way. I raised the feet on the front of the freezer so it leans back more. Now it closes much better. All good now. But if they have issue in future, please order new hinges for the door. I also showed customer how food was over packed in door, recommended taking a lot of the food out of the door so that it can close better.

Not cooling right dont think fan comes on. I found the fan did come on but the defrost drain was blocked and unit wasnt breathing. I defrosted the fridge is cooling well.

The customer said on Tuesday the meat started to thaw and the door was not making the vacuum sound the she normally hears. The customer said this happened back in April but then it started to work after she unplugged the freezer and defrosted it. Today it was freezing food inside. The customer said it started to work last night. This a manual defrost so the shelves build up with frost. All the shovels had frost on them and some had a lot of frost. The door bins have moisture on them too. It felt like the door was rubbing on something when I closed it. I removed the door and greased the door pin. The door seals good. Today I found no issues with the freezer. I advised the customer that theirs not much space between the door bins and the shelf. I advised to make sure nothing is pushing on the door .

Customer complaint is, not cooling enough to freeze meat. Inspected and tested. Freezer temperature was 26F. Compressor and fan are running. I removed the evaporator cover and there was only frost on about 50 percent. The sealed system has failed.
