BACKSTORY

Hi, my name is Aaron and I service the eastern Twin Cities metro and western Wisconsin. I live just across the border in Hudson, WI with my lovely wife Alison, two teenage daughters and the best dog ever, our mini Goldendoodle, Stella.
I was born and raised in the Black Hills of South Dakota and moved to Minnesota after I discharged from the Army. I worked for over a decade doing maintenance for multi-family housing and made the move to appliance repair several years ago.
I enjoy spending time with my family, attending our daughter’s music & theater events and soccer games, playing golf and watching any and all sports, especially the San Francisco 49ers!

I accessed the burner control and verified that voltage is present and traveling to the burner when the infinite switch wash operating correctly. I accessed the smooth top burner underneath the surface glass. Replaced the defective burner and tested the repair when voltage was restored. The burner is heating again and the range is 100% functional.

The plastic windings cover from the compressor had fallen off and was vibrating on the refrigerator body. I secured the cover and entered the compressor into high speed to verify its nice and quiet when running. I adjusted the legs down to the floor so that the appliance doesnt wobble when opening and closing doors.The refrigerator is producing nice cold air and each compartment is at set temperatures.

The main power control board pressure switch was registering water level when the tub is empty, failed pressure switch. I removed the main pcb and transferred all power harnesses onto the replacement sent by Square Trade, calibrated the board and verified that the new board is operating correctly. The machine fills, spins, agitates and drains as expected once again. The washing machine is good for normal, everyday use.W11608056 control board

Bad compressor previously diagnosed, confirmed when I found open line status between start windings. I recovered the refrigerant from the sealed system, amount recovered indicated that a refrigerant leak was not present. I cut out the defective compressor and old filter drier, cleaned out remaining lines with nitrogen and brazed in a new compressor, filter drier and low side access. I pulled a deep vacuum for a dual evaporator system, moved the three way valve to the home position and charged the cooling system with 4.76 ounces of refrigerant. I updated the main power control board to operate the upgraded compressor. The high and low side pressures indicate 100% flow of refrigerant throughout the sealed system. I told the customer that in can take 24 hours for their refrigerator to reach set temperatures. ADH73150210 filter drier TCA38151706 compressor used

Aaron was great and I believe he did his best to repair the dry. Unfortunately it still has a rotational noise. So another repair is needed or I should be given a dryer replacement. .
