Customer complaint unit not making craft ice and making a big ice mess. Found that the ice maker is stuck and wont operate properly and making it to over fill. Customer reached out to LG and LG sent them a brand new icemaker installed new icemaker tested everythings working properly.

Customer states that machine will click and ever start properly. Covered a broken lid. Lock bezel that was not allowing it to latch properly. Replaced lid. Machine seems to be working correctly now.

"Watched washer for one hour on heavy agitate. Thoroughly inspected tub and ring and agitator, nothing sharp that would possibly tear clothes. Recommended not filling up tub all the way."

ICE MAKER CRACKED - REPLACED DEFECTIVE ICE MAKER - TESTED FUNCTIONS .

"RUBBING NOISE. Customer said the last couple loads it sounded good. Dryer sounds normal while testing. I disassembled dryer and inspected rollers, idler pulley and belt and everything looks great. I cant find anything wrong with this dryer."

I replaced the craft ice maker. I ran a harvest and it cycled and filled. No other issues.

I replaced the water valve. I ran it and no leaks. No issues found.

"LEAKING UNDER THE UNIT. I ran washer through a rinse and spin and no leaks. I had customer put a load of towels in and started a heavy cycle and it filled, agitated and drained and never leaked. Washer is not leaking while testing. Customer is going to run it and keep a close eye on it."

SHUT THE DOOR MESSAGE. The interlock switch is flipped again. Customer approved repairs. Installed new interlock switches and tested. Microwave is working great. Microwave is now fixed.

I replaced the compressor and filter. The new compressor is working and its cooling down. Will take 6 or so hours to cool.

"MAKING A LONG BEEPING NOISE. Found a water alarm behind the washer. Theres no sign of water on the floor. I ran washer through a rinse and spin and theres no leaks. "Customer states the unit stopped cooling again. Checked the board for any loose connections. The could hear the compressor trying to start, the amp draw was at almost 8 amps. Called tech support and got case number 12856148 Tony. Checked and found the condenser fan not running and no power going to the compressor. Unplugged and checked the compressor winding and nothing was opened or shorted to ground. Tony had me check making sure the until was not in demo mode. Checked and when the unit was plugged back in the fan came the condenser fan came back on. "The customer stated that she attempted to use her DW but couldnt start the wash cycle, none of the user interface buttons worked.Line voltage present where power chord connects to unit, I chased the lines back to the main power control board, couldnt find voltage there. Voltage enters the DW through the noise filler board, but power wasnt going to the main pcb. Replaced both boards and plugged in the unit, the user interface was making sounds that it shouldnt, so I replaced it along with the new door switch. The machine started running but the it sounded terrible and the wash motor was clicking, I found damage to the electrical windings on the supply harness.I called Square Trade, told them installed the parts they sent but I needed additional parts to complete the repair. Running the drain pump and getting the leak error. The dishwasher was loose and not mounted. I pulled it out and removed side panels. Found water leaking from the water inlet. The inlet cap cover was loose. I put silicone around the cover and made sure it was tight. I ran it and now it does not leak.

The back evaporator was frosted up. This model just needed a heater strap. I used a longer heater and defrosted the drain.

The compliant is it fills slowly with water. The cold water is slow. I removed the cold hose and found the hose plugged with gunk and the screen was plugged. I cleaned the hose and screen. Now the cold water fills fast. No parts replaced.

I verified it needs the ice maker and control board. I replaced the craft ice maker and top main board.

NOT DRAINING. Found the drain hose is plugged underneath the sink with grease. I snaked it open and tested. Dishwasher is draining great. Dishwasher is now fixed.

"Taking a long time to dry clothes. I ran dryer, and it ran at 196 degrees. With vent disconnected it ran at and it runs at 164. Quoted for an internal vent cleaning from dryer to floor, and inside dryer. Got a ton of lint and hair out. Working great now.

I replaced the cover and made sure all the drawers are sliding and going in good. I never heard the noise when I was there.

Not filling with water. Found a slight loose connection on water valve. Tightened that. Fills great now. Tested 3 times.

"Washer shakes a bit during spin. Located on upper level, unit has self-leveling feet on back and the front adjustable feet had vibration pads. Replaced shocks, re-leveled front feet and found the front vibration pads make it vibrate more so I did not re-install them. Washer has less vibration than before. Mentioned to customer that washers are going to have some vibration, especially on the second level and to remember to balance the weight of the wash load as evenly as possible to minimize vibrations."

ICE MAKER STOPPED MAKING ICE. FF compartment temperature is 39F and freezer is 2F. I cant get the ice maker to cycle. The ice maker has failed. I sealed up inside and outside of ice room and installed new ice maker. Tested and it cycled and filled with water. Ice maker is now fixed.

LOUD HUMMING ALL THE TIME EXCEPT WHEN COMPRESSOR TURNS OFF WHEN DOOR IS OPENED. Refrigerator sounds great when I got here. I ran it through test mode and all tested good. I removed the evaporator cover and evaporator and fan look good. I reassembled and now theres a vibration noise coming from the evaporator cover. We wedged a piece of wood in between the cover and wall and now it sounds great.

"The lower foot of the built in, double wall oven does not have much spring at the top of its glide, the customer would like it up close like the top door (with a good amount of force). I tried to adjust the springs on either side with some success, but the door still didnt snap shut. The hinges are square to the door, the oven door frame is square, the springs that are inside the lower door hinge assemblies have worn out and would need to be replaced in order for the door to close like new. The customer would also like an estimate about installing an electric burner receptacle for their combo refrigerator, water faucet/sink and two burner unit. To unplug this machine , plumbing may need to be disconnected, the receptacle replacement isnt hard but accessing what we need to for safety measures and plumbing protection are what make it difficult. The solenoid valve needs to be replaced to restore the water functions on the refrigerator. The water filter is expired too, needs to be replaced. The screws to remove the top are all brittle and crumbling when I try to remove them. "LC ERROR CODE AND DISHWASHER IS TURNING ON. On arrival, no error cold for available. There is quarter round molding in front of the units so Im not not able to pull dishwasher out. Remove the front to kick and was able to see if theres any water sitting in the pan. There was no water sitting in the pan. Ran for 20 minutes no water inside the pan. Also, there is no high loop for the drain. so installed the high loop for the drain. Working much better now.

Replace the failed drain pump with the new part and tested the machine. Let it fill up with water and then put it into a drain and spin and it drained all the water out perfectly. Everything seems to be working. Great on this machine now.

Customer states that they had replaced the icemaker unit themselves but the aspect was still unable to cycle. Measured voltage going to the icemaker and discovered it to be only about 80 V and 0 V when I tried to manually force the icemaker to cycle. Went ahead and inspected the relay on the receiver board. Seem to have failed. Replaced receiver board with part from truck stock. Machine seems to be working properly now.

Replaced bad water inlet for icemaker and bypass. Works great now.

Replaced thermal fuse - cleaned vent assembly - all drier functions test good.

The compliant I got was no heat. The dryer heats good. The high heat was around 165. The air flow is good. The dryer is getting 216 lots. That reduced voltage can cause longer dry times. No defect to the dryer. Dryer tested good. I called and left a message.

"Installed new actuator. Tested, checks good and is no longer noisy during the wash or spin cycles."

Replaced the sump assembly with new and the dispenser as well. Ran the machine for about 10 or 15 minutes to check for leaks and it appears to be working properly. Everything looks great now and the machine sounds a lot better.

"I removed the old defective operating timer for the washing machine installed the new timer turned the unit on to a normal cycle, which is where the malfunction was happening, and started a cycle. unit filled agitated and drained like expected. Washing machine is good to use on any cycle the customer wants."

Customer complaint is making loud noise during operation and also kind of a burning smell. Spinning unit by hand right away that the spider bracket was broken. Inspected over the unit and it definitely was unit is on repairable customers and go to Warners to try to get a new one.

Verified the noise was from the ice maker. The ice maker was turned on but not hooked to water. I cycled ice maker and the customer confirmed. I turned the ice maker off and checked the temps. Temps are normal.

Not responding start button. This interface is known for issues tested multiple times nothing. Unit needs a new seal and interface. The seal is because asko says water sneaks in and short out the control. "Customer states that the fridge is intermittently warm still. Went ahead and opened up the freezer section and discovered that frost had built up again over the evaporator cover around the fan. Went ahead and tested the defrost system and it appears that the defrost system is working correctly, upon further inspection, discovered that the damper door for the icemaker was stuck open. Disassembled the dispenser and discovered a failed micro switch for the dispenser. Replace the micro switch that the dispenser could close and fixed the arm. I think that the frost built up was just as a result of this dispenser being stuck open, and the quick frosting was what was causing the machine to stop cooling in the fridge, even though the Defrost system was still functioning. "Repaired wire pulled out from icemaker connector. No more error codes in freezer now. Cycled the icemaker, the tray has mechanical movement but it does not fill with water. Unit was pulled out for further testing.Copper lines on compressor appear to have been re-soldered at some point and are sloppily connected.I also found electrical connector to water valve was unplugged. Plugged in and still does not pass water to the icemaker on demand in diagnostics. Board is sending out 120VAC to water valve constantly whether its on or off, but when connected to the water valve, voltage drops to 0 whether it is in test mode or not. "Theyve had the fridge serviced a few times for the issue of evaporator getting all frosted up. Icemaker also has issue where it gets all iced up and doesnt work. I installed a new drain kit, because it did not have a drain kit installed prior and drains were plugged up. Also installed extra heater, and new temp sensor. Noticed at end of repair that the back of the fridge has rust and moisture coming through, due to insulation break down in cabinet. This will most likely cause future frosting issues. Also, 22E fresh food fan error keeps popping up now. I power cycled it 5 times but it persists. Needs new evaporator cover assembly. "NOT FILLING WITH WATER. Found the timer is broken, you have to push really hard for it to respond. It filled, but the basket is sagging and rubbing on the bottom. Washer needs a new timer which is NLA part number WH12X10338, knob part number WH01X10310 and all four suspension rods part number WH16X544 for the 2 rear ones and part number WH16X543 for the 2 front ones. Replaced both sections of door gasket. Looks great! Made sure door opened and closed properly. Note says office will collect from customer. Complete.; saved tckt

Tech was assigned as a helper;

"Customer stated the stove was not baking.Tested and found the ignitor was not working, replaced ignitor and the unit now is working as it should."

"Customer states the ice maker is making ice cubes that have a strange taste and the unit smells like chemical inside the fresh food compartment. Removed the ice maker found lots of calcium build up from hard water on the ice maker mold and the fill tube. Removed the lower drawers inside the fresh food compartment checked for anything that could be causing the smell, removed the back cover in the freezer and checked the coil and fan for anything that could be causing the smell. Found nothing. Customer knows they have hard water, suggested they Change the water filter and put a box of baking soda in refrigerator for the smell"

Installed part from last diagnosis. Working good now.
