"Replaced bad cook top, works great now."

"Customer states got back to burners were not functioning, and that the indicator lamp on the machine would not turn on. Opened it up and discovered that the indicator lamp had become disconnected. Reattached it to the lens and tested. Inspected the back to burners and found that the back right burner had been improperly inserted into the socket and so I re-did that and now that one is working. Discovered that the back left burner is burnt out and measured open when I checked for continuity. This burner will need to be replaced. I asked customer if they would be comfortable installing this new burner themselves and they confirmed that they were so if we could ship this part direct to the customer that would be great. "Returned with harness, installed the harness and now the unit turns on as it should. The unit still does not recognize the pans. Called the Tech line Spoke with Russ case number 87175834 Russ had me switch the jumpers on the left and right board. Cycled and tested all the burners worked except the center dual element. Did some troubleshooting and was informed the center generator board was the issue. Called and got approval for all 3 parts . changed the generator board, still the center burner is not working. Suspect the issue is the part number 357249669 the large burner. ; O-emld tckt"

"Cooktop is flashing F4 constantly and is completely unresponsive. Customer turned off unit at the breaker for several minutes to try and see if he could force it to reset and start operating normally again. However, this did not help and it just continues to flash F4. I have ordered the main control module and will return on Friday, April 19th with Phil to install it. ; ordrd 1 00449808 (Main control module)"

"Returned with part, disassembled the cook top before installing new board, Called tech support talked with Mike. After a lot of discussion and checking the jumpers in the generators and checking the connections to the main board, the suspected issue is the harness going from the right generator to user interface.
