I replaced the water valve. I ran in a casual cycle and in a test mode . Hot and cold are work good. Its filling with cold when it should be.

Customers complaint is the fridge and freezer temperatures are wacky. The freezer temperature at the bottom or freezing and 60? at the top. Upon arrival an inspection I found the evaporator fan motor was not turning due to a slight frost buildup in the freezer section. I defrosted and then turned my attention to the dispenser. I found in the fresh food section it was 15? at the bottom and had frozen the water bladder. I replaced the bladder with a roll of quarter inch tubing per customers request yes. The fridge it will take 24 hours to get down and being in maintained temperatures appropriately up to 48 hours on ice maker. .; used 20 HOSE-1/4WATERLIN (PT14 1 FOOT OF LINE) from stock

Customer was worried that oven takes a long time to preheat and does not hold its temperature. I took the back panel off and checked the bake and broil elements and the fuses and the wiring and control board and everything looks good. Everything tests good. Around the oven for 20 minutes and it preheated perfect to 400 and held its temperature. Oven is actually running great.

Motor getting too hot and shutting down. Replaced motor and sump assembly. Runs great now.

"Customer complaint is, START BUTTON IS STUCK ON. Inspected and found the start switch has failed. Installed new switch and tested. Dryer is now fixed. ; used 1 WE4M519 (GE START SWITCH) from stock"

"The whole dishwasher was dead. I found the control fuse was bad. I also found some burn spots from the heater connector on the main board. I repaired the spots on the board and cut out the bad connector on the board and replaced them. I ran through a test cycle and it was all good. The soap dispenser opened, it filled and washed, it heated and drained. ; used 1 W10258275 (THERMAL FUSE) from stock"

I pulled the dishwasher out and replaced the thermostat. Tested the dishwasher and now it heats.

"Customer has two complaints and two issues. First complaint is the water dispenser is slow. I found the water source to be plumbed from A reverse osmosis system. This reverse osmosis system she is shared with the kitchen sink. Obviously am reverse osmosis system is intended for drinking water not to be plumbed to the main cold water valve on the kitchen sink. Theres no shut off valve and theres a flood safe waterline installed on the refrigerator. Customer needs a plumber to install a shut off valve behind the refrigerator and to put on a non-flood safe water line as this is not able to be used for this application. obviously the RO system will not be able to keep up with both uses, no repair possible. Second issue with icemaker could partially be the water supply issue but I found temperatures in the freezer between 20?F and 18?F the ice rooms temperatures were in the 20?Fs. The fresh food section had 65? at the top of the fridge and was hovering in the mid 40s at the lower. The compressor was running along with condenser and evaporator fans. This fridge has a failing sealed system .

Replaced rack positioner and adjuster. Also replaced dispenser. Tested and soap dispenser now closes and rack can be adjusted. Dishwasher is working good.

"The customer told it does not make ice, its making a loud noise from the back, the fresh food section is freezing food and there is ice forming in the freezer section on the ceiling. I confirmed all the complaints. I found both gaskets are ripped. The fresh food door is sagging down and not sealing tight so warm air is leaking in. I found the lower hinge support is bent down and the nylon shim is worn out. The ice maker is getting power but did mot cycle when I advanced the ice maker motor. The valve tested good. The condenser fan motor is bad. Replaced the UI consul and tested the dishwasher is now fixed.

The right side wheel bracket was broken on the adjuster. I installed the new rack adjuster kit. Tested good . ; used 1 W10712394 (RACK ADJUSTER KIT) from stock

Customer complains of a residue left in her dishes. Upon arrival an inspection found her water softener had failed and water was extremely hard. There was a black mineral buildup in her Corel dishes I was unable to find the source of this contamination. I recommended she get her water softener fixed and use a citric acid base cleaner to clean the contamination from her unit. No further repair possible.

"A customer complains the dishwasher wont drain, I remove the plug from the new garbage disposal and unit now drains perfectly."

It sounds like an airplane when it runs. The drum is almost completely detached from the bearing.

"Customer complaint is, NOT KEEPING TEMPS IN FF OR FREEZER. Inspected and tested refrigerator. Temperatures were 15 degrees in freezer and 45 FF compartment. Took apart evaporator and defrosted. Watched it frost back up and after 20 minutes there was only 40 percent frosted over. Sealed system has failed. This is not covered by homesmart. Customer is going to look into their options."

"Fresh food is 41 and freezer is 5 degrees. Compressor has been making some clunking sounds. I steamed off the evap, which didnt have a great deal of frost on it. I gave it 20 minutes, and after 20 I only saw frost on 70% of the evaporator. Customer is going to monitor temperatures for a few weeks after setting temperatures a little lower on the refrigerator and see what it does. If it cant hold temperatures they will have someone come in to do sealed system work."

I replaced the wash impeller and the door gasket. I ran for a bit and there was no water leaking.

The defrost drain tube was plugged up so water could not drain into the defrost pan. Water was then backing up into the freezer and leaking out the door. I cleared the ice and drain.

The customer said the machine was dead yesterday. Today it turned on and filled and drained OK. The rug by the machine is all wet. We need to troubleshoot this further. (by FW)

"Customer complaint is, When cooking the CO2 alarm goes off. Customer says that Xcel red tagged it and got a reading of 47 ppm CO. Inspected and tested oven. The flames on the burners were burning a little on the orange side which usually means its burning something in the air or not the right gas to oxygen ratio. I let it run for about ten minutes and nothing changed. I preheated the oven to 350F and let it cycle a couple times and it was working great. Whirlpool has a bulletin out for gas ovens and says the maximum allowed amount is 200ppm CO. Theres nothing else I can do to this range. I advised customer to get a second opinion on the CO reading."

Customer complained that the washer leaked when she was washing pillows. Upon arrival in inspection I ran the washing machine with the body off through fill hesitation and drain and could find no leaks. I suspect the pillows were the culprit and cause of the leak. No repairs needed

The motor just buzzes when they try to start it. He rotated the drum by hand and it made some audible crunchy noises and after that would not even buzz. It seems the motor may have come apart. We stock the motor and blower. Motor- 131560100 and Blower- 131775600 (by FW)

Right front burner element does not come on and the hot surface indicator light is on. Took oven apart and found that the glass tube in the center of the element is broken and when I tested for continuity in the blue white and blue wire to the element it tests as open. Ordered a new element and will be back on Monday to install. There was quite a bit of cooking oil built up throughout the front of the range so I cleaned a ton of that out with paper towels. The right front corner of the glass cooktop has cracks and they have silicone on it to keep it together. Have to be very careful when lifting up the top.; ordrd 1 WB30T10155 (Triple burner element)

"Customer complains washer overfills and leaks. I found the unit was overfilling. I cleaned the pressure hose but still overfills. Customer complains that when icemaker is turned on they have a leak that comes out of the ice dispenser bucket through the dispenser door and down the front of the machine. Part is on order; ordrd 1 2198597 (Ice maker)

Getting f02 error which is long drain. Found that drain pump filter was clogged with debris blocking drain. I showed customer how to access and clean out drain pump if error happens again. Washer now drains and spins. Washer is workin good.

The black latch and latch release parts were broken. I had to force the pieces out so I can get the door open. Im ordering the latches assembly parts. "Customer complaint is, HAS TO RUN A FEW CYCLES TO DRY CLOTHES. Inspected and tested dryer. Found the dryer was quick cycling with the vent connected and temperature only got to 175F and temperature wouldnt drop below 160F. Disconnected vent and now temperatures are cycling between 200F and 120F. Airflow on back of dryer is 29mph and I cant check the outside air flow because it comes out on the second story. Dryer is operating normal with vent disconnected. As soon as I hook the vent up the temperature basically stays at what it was when I hooked it up. The problem is with vent. Recommended customer have vent looked at."

Replaced bad ATC. Turned hot water back on. Runs great now.

The little pilot orifice in the side of the burner was plugged. I cleared the hole and its working great now. All the burners work good.

Had a bad spark module. Replaced with a new one and put on new wire terminals and cleaned the burner heads and it works great now.

The dryer would not heat at all. I checked the dryer air flow from inside the dryer and it tested poor. I disconnected the dryer vent and now it tested good. The customer said the dryer vents out under the deck. The dryer vent needs to be cleaned. I found the rear hi limit thermostat is bad. I replaced the thermostat kit and its heating good now. The cause of the thermostat to fail is the poor air flow. If the dryer cant get the hot air out then the dryer will over heat and the thermostats will fail. It does this for safety reasons. I advised the customer to not use it until the duct is cleaned ; used 1 W11050897 (THERMAL FUSE) from stock

The customers water is over 20 grains. The door seal is disintegrating and wash impeller is falling apart. Im ordering the door seal and wash impeller. I advised the customer to have the water softener checked. ; ordrd 1 WP99002659 (Wash impeller) and 1 WP99003337 (Door seal)

The oven door is hanging down and falls completely off. The door springs are broken that why the door drops. From the door dropping down the ovens frame is bent and not repairable. The front frame and door hinges would need to be replaced. I checked all available resources for the parts and nobody has a frame and the hinges are very expensive.

The whole UI was dead. I replaced the UI assembly. Its working good now.

Airflow on outside of house is only 11mph and back of dryer is 31mph. Also found the heating element has failed. Needs a new element. Dryer not drying well. Found zero airflow coming out of the vent outside. It was packed completely full of lint. Showed customer and I pulled all the lint out that was packed around the vent opening outside and now venta great. It also heats great. Runs out 155?. Also explain to customer that the lint light will flash when you turn it on to remind you to clean the lint trap.

The issue is that the washer slowly fills with water when its off. Actually needs the water valves replaced. Quoted customer 267. Picking parts up today.; ordrd 1 5220FR2008F (4 way fill valve) and 1 5220FR2006H (1 way fill valve)
