Upon arrival and inspection I found the following errors were stored F3E1 - water level error, F5E4 - door switch error, F8E3 - overflow error, F8E1 - no water. No errors as mentioned by the customer. It was a high pitch wine answer the motor was in the spin cycle but unit finishes and completes service diagnostics successfully. I cleared the error codes. It was unable to duplicate or find any issues. I double check and re-diagnosed test number 10 from the service diagnostics finding no issues with previous work done. no issues found."

"Customer unplugged the refrigerator. They plugged it back in and it was cooling great when I got there. I just did the defrost heater and that runs great, I steamed out the drain hole on the condensation pan and made sure that was clean, I vacuumed out the coil underneath, and put some lubricant on the drain pan to help water go down the drain. Told customer it will probably be 12 hours before everything is nice and cool again."

There was condensation around the ice dispenser on the outside of the fridge after they had turned on a turbo ice option. The very tip of the water dispenser was frozen. This happened on an exceptionally hot and humid day. They turned off the turbo ice option and they did not feel cold coming out anymore from above the water and ice dispenser and the condensation immediately went away.Looked everything over and even though everything is good now my best educated diagnosis is that at turbo ice option cool things down really fast around the water dispenser causing it to start to freeze and the ice poking out of it coming in contact with the human air caused condensation to form. I checked for service bulletins and could not find any about this being a known issue.

"Customer complaint is, GETS NOISY AS SOON AS DOORS ARE CLOSED. Customer had refrigerator unplugged and defrosted when I got there. Plugged refrigerator in and tested everything in diagnostic mode. Compressor and fans were running and sounded good. Thermistors, bimetal and heater all tested good. After 45 minutes of running the evaporator was only frosted over about 15-20 percent. Customer complains the dishwasher will not drain or circulate. Upon arrival and inspection I found the onboard fuse on the main control board have failed. Which affects both circulation and drain pump. I priced control board and found it to be a national back order to be manufactured again in July. I called GE and they recommended the drain pump and circulation pump be changed at the same time as the main control board as a high voltage draw typically is the cause of the failure of the fuse thats on the board and its typically the circulation pump. Customer had previously replaced the heater assembly and the drain pump. customer was unable to make a decision at the moment will call into the office if he wants to move forward. Note be sure to use only the newly redesign control board per GE the old control board part number has many defects and will cause customer problems down the road.

The fridge and freezer are both warm. Fresh food section is 44 degrees. The ice on the top of the freezer will not freeze but the ice on the bottom is frozen. The fan is not on. I am pretty sure this has a defrost issue or the evap drain is blocked and froze the fan.

I spoke with the customer about repair possibilities but she declined repairs. I advised against repairing. I was able to reattach it and tested washer in service diagnostic mode. Everything worked great. I put a load of towels on and ran it through a rinse and spin. It agitated, drained and when it went to spin out it started banging around. Needs 4 new suspension rods and top tub ring.
