"Confirmed that washer needs a new transmission and clutch. It was working really hard and not spinning out, and the motor started overheating. Quoted the customer at 4:25 for a new clutch and transmission. Told her if the motor is compromised that motor would cost an additional $180. She is going to talk it over with husband. Found that when motor runs and gets hot it stops mid cycle and just buzzes and wont agitate or spin. Needs motor and motor coupler. Called and left message with owner with estimate and to call office if they want to proceed with ordering parts and repairing. Customer complains that the washing machine leaks and its really loud during the spin cycle. Upon arrival and inspection I found the rear main bearing is failing there is a 1/16th to an 1/8th inch play in the bearing. There is evidence that the door boot has been rubbed thin due to this failure. If we repaired we would need rear tub spin drum assembly with spider and new door boot. Customer complains dishwasher is loose in the cabinet and the door will not open all the way. Upon arrival and inspection I found a magnetic child lock was stuck on the back side of the door panel. This was keeping the door from opening completely. The right hand mounting bracket had fallen loose and screw had fallen out. I move the mounting brackets to the top of the unit leveled it and anchored. The dishwasher is now fixed. Please call and collect customer was in a meeting.

"Fridge freeing food, eggs specifically. Customer was loading the fridge improperly the eggs were sitting right in front of the air inlet. I took temperatures and found the fridge to be 40°F throughout. The freezer was at 2 1/2°F which is perfect. The customer was keeping the temperature at the recommended 38° setting. I recommended the customer make a few behavior changes with loading the fridge as well as adjusting the temperatures upward as needed giving 24 hours after an adjustment to see progress. No issues were found with the fridge its cooling as designed."

No way to make it more secure.Also checked wash that was spinning out and clothes still somewhat wet and bearing seems to have some play. So told customer to get vent cleaned. The upper oven was not lighting the first time. After I checked the the bake ignitor the upper oven started working. I checked it for a third time and now the bake ignitor tested bad. The whole room filled with smoke and would not spin. He put it on a spin for me and it did not spin at all. this machine has the old tranny and it is probably shot. (by FW)

"The permamnent press cycle is not drying clothes well, all the other cycles work well. I talked to the customer about sensor dry and making sure there are like items and not a small load. She is going to try it out. She can also use normal cycle and turn the temp cooler if she would like."

The dishwasher makes noise as soon as the door is shut. It sounds like the drain pump comes on. The bottom spray arm also never moved. the top spray armo moved nicely. I would clean the filters and find out whats makeing the noise. (by FW)

"The left door and freezer door shut fine. The right door was getting hung up by the cam. The door is only designed to pull in at the last couple inches. The plastic camOn the door needs to crab the hook on the bottom hinge. I put some grease on the cam and hinge, I also raised the front so gravity will help close the door. The door shut better. Advised the customer that the 2 doors will close differently because of the weight in the door and the right door has the cam and the left door does not."

I found no problem with the heater. In diagnostics the f7-e1 not heating error code came up. The heater does cycle on in diagnostics and when I ran a 1 hour wash. At the end of diagnostics no other error codes came up. I advised the customer to clean the dishwasher with a cleaner and then vinegar. I also advised to run the hot water from the sink before starting the dishwasher and try running it during the day versus at night.

I found the ice bucket was not able to lift up and be pulled out because it was hitting the bottom of the ice maker. The ice maker was not clipped in on the left side. I removed the ice maker and reinstalled it. Now the bucket works good. The customer was able to remove it.

Dishwasher stopped mid cycle with water still on bottom and soap dispenser not opened. I ran test and completed. Im guessing maybe something was pushing against the door and it popped open and stopped cycle when washing because all functions are working as Im here. No faults found.

I found ice build up all over the ice bucket and Im the ice compartment. After I was able to get the ice housing out I found that the fill tube was no straight and slightly bent to the left. Per the Lg bulletin I bent the fill tube to the right so the water goes in the middle of the fill cup and will not spray out the top. I did two fill test and water does not drip out the fill cup.

Customers concern is that the air fry option is not working as designed. They feel the fan is not working during the cycle. I called and spoke with technical support theres very little documentation on this new model. After having a conversation with them I checked voltage from the main board down to the convection fan assembly. I found 120 volts AC at the fan but the fan was not turning. The fan blade and fan spins freely without obstruction. The unit needs a fan - eau61865305 it appears that they have zero at the factory currently per Marcone. Customer complains to cycle will not complete and the dishwasher is not working and getting an F2 error. Upon arrival and inspection I found a single drawer unit. The dishwasher was heavily contaminated and the rotor would not turn freely by hand. I removed the spray arm filters and rotor assembly and found mineral chunks keeping the unit from spinning freely. I cleaned it and put it back together the rotor spins more freely but not as it should. The contamination is so bad the unit is unable to work as designed. Please call Into Authorizations as I dont know if they will do anything to help this customer due to the extreme contamination. The customer will call us back on Monday morning and tell us if the unit has recovered after use I have a citric acid base cleaner over the weekend.; saved tckt

New issue bill for labor. Customers new complain is the dryer makes funny humming noise during the cycle after they had the dryer vent cleaned. Original complaint was dry are not drying this is due to a bad vent.Upon arrival and inspection I watch the dryer cycle and after the third cycle the gas valves begin to chatter. Customer complains that the fridge freezes food in the fresh food section. She has had many issues over the last few months and will only accept replacement. I suspect The fridge has a sealed system issue is running overtime causing the freezing. I know Paul and Delton both have had this issue after replacing both the board and the thermostat. See SD quickpics for all the previous notes from Centerpoint gas. One way or the other this either needs to go to authorizations or be transferred for a failed sealed system. Note this customer was extremely agitated when I arrived incredibly unhappy I dont feel there is anyway to please her outside of a replacement. I recommend distancing ourselves as she is a time bomb. When I arrived I measured 34 at the back bottom corner of the fresh food section. I had mid teens in the freezer section. The manual air valve was in the optimal position for warming up the fridge and cooling the freezer the temperature was adjusted accordingly with what the owners manual said. for her issue. There is a note from Centerpoint gas that says theres no further repair possible on this refrigerator.; saved tckt

customer complained of a loud noise. Upon arrival and inspection I found the unit had to come home for mice. I cleaned it thoroughly as well as replaced the idler. the dryer is now fixed. Note the customer had had service previously and already paid for an idler that was uninstalled. I know this is outside normal bounds but I did this for her because shes a good returning customer will continue to send us business. The dryer is now fixed.

"Smelled gas and burning. I checked the oven, and cleaned some junk off the bottom pan. The spark ignitor ignited great, uniform blue flames. Checked all burners, good blue flames with orange tips.Looked under cook top, some mouse droppings. Vacuumed those out. Took back off of the range, no charred wires or signs of burnt wires or connections. Put blue liquid on burner orfices and no leaking gas. Ran oven and no burning smell or bad smells. They have been painting. Told them about VOCs."

Dishwasher dead. Confirmed 120 coming to board but not to touch pad. Quoted 338 for new board. Customer is moving so they are going to just buy a new one.

I replaced the diffuser and cycled it open and closed. Everything sounds good.

The dryer would tumble it just had a mocking sound. I removed the drum and found the 2 rear rollers had flat spots and one of the front rollers was not spinning. I replaced 3 of the drum rollers and vacuumed out the dryer. ; used 3 4581EL3001E (ROLLER) from stock

The wash motor was stuck. I was able to get freed up but its pretty loud. The motor would need to be replaced. The motor is not longer available and it might not be worth fixing this older unit.
