Customer complains they get an error code when I try to use the washer. Upon arrival and inspection I found there was no water supplied to the house. I hunted down the Water main and turned it on and tested the washing machine through a speed wash cycle. The washer would not drain and got an error code. I cleaned out a lot of contamination that I found from a rubber back rug that had been washed. The floor drain backed up when I was testing I notified the customer. I watched it through a quick cycle and speed wash and its now working flawlessly with no errors.

"I compared the new thermostat to the old one, the new one was good and the old one tested open. I replaced the inlet thermostat and then tested the heat again. I ran the inlet temp test again and now its able to read the temps in the dryer. Its working good."

She said it started to make knocking noise. I threw a load of towels in the washer and let run through a rinse. There is just a little gear noise from the gear case but its not leaking oil and it agitates strong and spins fast. The basket does not slip.

"The front drum rollers were not spinning, the idler was noisy and the blower wheel was full of lint. I vacuumed out the dryer, oiled the rear rollers, replaced the idler and replaced the front 2 rollers. It sounds a lot better now.

Ice melted in the bucket and high temps. Upon arrival and inspection I found temperatures were 15-18 in the freezer. The ice room was 34 and fridge was 45-48. The evaporator had no frost on the lower half of the evaporator. The sealed system has failed.
